List the improvements in an examination workflow and get information about system handling For clinical protocol steps with the acquisition type free the SID value is only displayed when measured with the measuring tape. Switching the Acquisition Type will update all clinical protocol steps within the same Clinical Protocol and with the same default Acquisition Type. In case of a subsequent exposure within an active examination, you can recall the collimation settings from the previously acquired image with Recall Collimation button If an X-ray exposure was taken selecting the wrong clinical protocol or clinical protocol step, you can re-assign both. By pressing the pre-contact the integrated myExam 3D Camera provides now a real-time optical image of the patient until radiation release. Please note: This feature is only available for RAD images. You can start the SaveLog creation from Access bar and the Administration portal. When performing a restart it is essential to wait until the screen turns black before pressing the ON button again to avoid login problems after the re-boot. Place the entire annotation within the image area to avoid a cut off of the annotation. Know the patient data handling enhancements Table with 2 columns and 5 rows Scheduler/Local Data You can sort the Scheduler patient/procedure list as well as the Local Data list. Please note: The adaption of the sort order is maintained until it is changed again. The sort order of the Scheduler and Local Data can be set independent from each other. Scheduler Start an examination workflow: By tapping the Examination button after selecting the patient. By double tapping the selected patient from the patient/procedure list. Local Data A select all checkmark is available. Administration Portal You can define which attributes are displayed in the Scheduler. Select the Clinical Configuration workspace and select Patient Browser > Scheduler from the navigation tree. To configure the Operator field for patient registration as mandatory, select the Operator check box in the Additional Mandatory Configuration section. Tube head You can now clearly identify your patients with their names, date of birth, and patient ID being displayed on the touch user interface on the tube head. Understand the new clinical protocol / clinical protocol step management The Automatic sorting of CP steps function can be activated / deactivated in the workflow editor in myExam cockpit. You can sort the clinical protocol list either alphabetically or by the setting defined in the Clinical Protocol Editor. In the Clinical Protocol Editor you can sort the clinical protocols within a body region by tapping the Move up and Move down button. To get the up and down buttons active, the body filter must be set. Perform a long tap on the View button to get information about a linked clinical protocol step. Presetting of field of view size: In the Clinical Protocol Editor you can now change the collimation height and the collimation width of a clinical protocol step separately in the respective drop-down menu. In the Clinical Protocol Editor you can sort the clinical protocols within a body region: 1. Select a body region in the Filter by list. 2. The Move up and Move down buttons are enabled. By tapping on the Move up and Move down buttons, you can sort the clinical protocols within a body region. Please note: The Move up and Move down buttons are only available, if the main body regions are selected (e.g. leg, arm, skull). For more information, please watch the video. As long as they are active, the clinical protocol steps within an examination workflow are automatically sorted as followed: Acquisition type (wall stand, table, free exposure) Viewing position (AP, PA, Lat, Oblique) Ortho direction (head to feet, feet to head) Name of clinical protocol step For more information, please watch the video. ? In the Attribute Visibility Configuration section, select the check boxes of the attributes that should be displayed in the Scheduler. To configure the Operator field for patient registration as mandatory, select the Operator check box in the Additional Mandatory Configuration section. Patient ID - Touch User Interface monitor You can now clearly identify your patients with their names, date of birth, and patient ID being displayed on the touch user interface on the tube head. Local Data – Select all function A select all checkmark is now available for the Local Data. To select a patient, tap the patient name. The assigned studies are shown. To select all patients, that are listed, tap on the checkbox. Scheduler – Start the examination An examination workflow can now be started: By tapping the Examination button after selecting the patient. By double tapping the selected patient from the patient/procedure list. Sort order - Scheduler and Local Data You can sort the Scheduler patient/procedure list as well as the Local Data list. Please note: This feature is only available for RAD images. myExam 3D Camera 4 Re-assignment of clinical protocol steps The clinical protocol step is linked to the selected clinical protocol which is defined during patient registration or added during the examination. If an X-ray exposure was taken selecting the wrong clinical protocol or clinical protocol step, you can re-assign both. To learn how you can reassign a clinical protocol, please watch the video. Please note: In case of an Ortho series, you can re-assign the clinical protocol and/or clinical protocol step for a single acquisition image. All images will be updated accordingly. 3 Recall collimation In case of a subsequent exposure within an active examination, you can recall the collimation settings from the previously acquired image with Recall Collimation button. The collimation size will only be updated once a valid SID is available. Please note: Recall Collimation does not apply to Ortho examinations. Recall Collimation is available only in combination with Virtual Collimator . For more information, please watch the video. 2 Switching the Acquisition Type During an examination, it might be necessary to switch the Acquisition Type, e.g. in case your patient is not able to stand in front of the wall stand. Switching the Acquisition Type will update all clinical protocol steps: - within the same Clinical Protocol and - with the same default Acquisition Type. Please note: The automatic switch will apply to the same clinical protocol only. Additional clinical protocols using the same default Acquisition Type will not be affected. 1 SID handling for acquisition type free exposures For clinical protocol steps with the acquisition type free the SID value is only displayed when measured with the measuring tape. Please note: As long as no measuring is done, no value is displayed.
