Scanning • myExam Cockpit – Clinical decision trees are now also available for children. • You can now define the Study Description for each protocol using a clinical decision tree. • You can now change the Recon Strategy after scanning, for example to add an iMAR Recon job. • Only for NAEOTOM Alpha, NAEOTOM Alpha.Peak, NAEOTOM Alpha.Pro, NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime, SOMATOM X.ceed and SOMATOM X.cite: Flex 4D Spiral* – You can now manually configure the cycle time parameter and maintain it during scan range selection. This includes additional combinations of scan ranges and cycle times becoming available. Exam Protocols • Only for NAEOTOM Alpha, NAEOTOM Alpha.Peak, NAEOTOM Alpha.Pro and NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime: ‘Liver Perfusion Alt’ is now available with the scan mode Quantumplus. • ‘Liver Intervention’ and ‘Liver Intervention 3D’ are now available with different contrast phases before the interventional procedure. • ‘Brain and Neck Multi Phase CTA’ is now available with different contrast phases as an alternative or additional option for brain perfusion. • CDTI measurement protocols are no longer available because of the new tool CTDI Individual (see General Software Improvements below). Recon • You can now configure two User Texts. Changing of the series description is no longer possible. General software improvements • CT View&GO Dynamic Angio as part of syngo.CT Dynamic Angio* – The visualization of blood flow is now possible based on time-resolved data. Movies, images and time attenuation curves (TACs) are created to visualize blood flowing from the arterial to the venous phases. This may support the inspection of diseases which affect the vessel system, vascular malformations, control of stent graft extravasation, or the evaluation of tumor vascularization. • CTDI Individual allows you to perform any clinical scan mode as a technical axial scan in order to perform CTDI dose measurements. Medical physicists or trained and qualified personnel with CTDI knowledge can use this function for CTDI dose measurements within their quality assurance program to verify the stated CTDI and its constancy. Sustainability • Not for SOMATOM go.Up and SOMATOM go.Now: Eco Power Mode – New feature to save energy consumption between examinations. FAST 3D Camera** • Collision indication – Before moving the table into the gantry, the software now indicates a potential collision. • Grid overlay – Visual feedback on tablets that shows whether you have positioned the patient straight or rotated by overlaying a grid on the camera image. Quantum Technology • Only for NAEOTOM Alpha, NAEOTOM Alpha.Peak, NAEOTOM Alpha.Pro and NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime: o Spectral Recalibration – Quality assurance workflow for your staff to validate spectral stability. o Additional 120 kV are now available for Quantum scan modes. .......................................................... * Optional. Neurology Imaging / Stroke Reading • Recon&GO LVO Detection as part of syngo.CT LVO Detection* – Automatic detection of suspected large vessel occlusions (LVO) in the brain, which can assist in ischemic stroke triaging. • Vessel Hyperdensities as part of syngo.CT Vessel Hyperdensities* – Quantification and visualization of intravascular hyperdensities in native non-contrast head CT images. • ASPECTS V2 (in CT View&GO and Recon&GO) as part of syngo.CT ASPECTS* – With the updated ASPECTS version, the software now detects old infarcts and acute infarcts, and in addition to that, now performs orientation correction together with a head-in-the-isocen- ter quality check: The software will notify you in case you have not placed the patient’s head in the scanner’s isocenter.
