You can also postpone the installation of the extended functionalities to a later point in time. In this case, you have to perform the following steps:  The Basic Viewer package is already installed. 1. Click the Settings icon in the access bar, and choose Add/Remove Packages from the menu. To do so, you click the Settings icon in the access bar, and choose Update Application from the menu. The update process is started automatically. Your personal application settings are preserved and will be available again when the update is completed. As a prerequisite for regular software updates, you need an Internet connection. Skipping Software Versions In case you missed a complete major version, for example, because you do not have constant Internet access on your computer, the outdated version will be uninstalled and a new installation of the latest software version will be initiated. Remember to back up the patient data and other configurations such as DICOM nodes from the respective local directory before syngo.via View&GO is being uninstalled. Uninstalling syngo.via View&GO You uninstall syngo.via View&GO just like any other Windows application: 1. Open the Windows Control Panel. 2. Click Uninstall a program in the Programs section. Consider that Internet access is necessary for installation as well as uninstallation of syngo.via View&GO. For example, if you want to install your syngo.via View&GO application on a different hardware, Internet connection is necessary when uninstalling the application. Note that when uninstalling the application, patient data such as DICOM images, will remain on the computer. In case you want to use the computer for another purpose, you have to explicitly delete such data beforehand. Before uninstalling syngo.via View&GO, make sure that all processes are completed and that the application has been closed.
