
Practical MRI for MAGNETOM Users: A Continuing Education Webinar Series
This series of 8 webinars will bring together a range of education topics to enhance your skills and learning. The single registration fee will give you access to all sessions.
Each session is 1 hour long and held monthly. If you are unable to attend on the day then a recorded version is included in the registration fee and will be made available to you after the session.
1. MRI Parameter Card deep dive: Review of key imaging parameters in the Routine, Contrast, Resolution, Geometry, System, Physio, Inline & Sequence tab cards for Numaris XA based software, with a focus on how and when to modify and their potential impact on image quality.
2. MRI SAR optimisation and myExam Implant Suite: Identifies key factors that impact Specific Absorption Rate and how to modify imaging parameters effectively. Use of myExam Implant Suite for limiting SAR and B1+rms will be reviewed.
3. MRI motion artefact reduction techniques: Review of common motion related artefacts seen in MRI and suggested techniques for reducing their frequency & significance.
4. MRI fat suppression techniques: Covers commonly used fat suppression techniques in MRI, their advantages & weaknesses, how to implement & modify as required.
5. MRI metal artefact reduction techniques: Explains how to minimise artefacts in the presence of metal implants, including advanced techniques such as WARP, VAT and SEMAC.
6. MRI Diffusion Weighted Imaging and optimisation: Review of DWI in MRI, including key parameters and techniques available for reducing distortion & optimising image quality.
7. MRI MSK image quality optimisation: Focuses on MSK imaging and adaptation of key sequence parameters which may influence image appearance and quality.
8. MRI Deep Resolve imaging: Explains key concepts of Siemens Deep Resolve imaging technology, how and when to implement & key considerations for image quality optimisation.
This training is approved for CPD Credits with the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
