Performing IMT Dilution Check on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Job Aid SIEMENS Healthineers Perform IMT Dilution Check The IMT Dilution Check is performed to calibrate and verify the system dilution ratio delivered by the dilution arm on the IMT system. The operator performs the IMT Dilution Check: A • When troubleshooting a consistent shift in QC recovery. In the System Status area, select the appropriate CH analyzer, and ensure the analyzer is in the stopped state (the operator must stop the 3 analyzer before unlocking the cover) B. Select Front Cover C. Wait for the lock glyph to indicate unlocked and then open the front cover Note: The lock glyph indicates whether the cover is locked or unlocked. When unlocked, the cover automatically re-locks unless the operator opens the cover within 30 seconds. 2. Fill a 1 mL tube-top sample cup with 500-750 µL IMT dilution check Note: The IMT dilution check must be performed within 15 minutes of opening the ampule. 3.
