This job aid describes how to perform an optical test on the Atellica® DCA Analyzer.
Atellica® DCA SIEMENS Healthineers Performing an Optical Test Job Aid In addition to the automatic self checks performed during every sample and Quality Control measurement, an optical test cartridge is available for you to run additional 1:51 PM 06/22/2020 Hom performance checks before calling your local service provider for assistance. Instructions 1. Switch on the Atellica DCA Analyzer 2. Open the cartridge door and insert the optical test cartridge into the cartridge DCAEP20116 compartment until you hear and feel a gentle click Optical Test Running 3. Close the door 4. Wait 60 seconds for the test to complete X 5. If the home screen displays and there is no error on the Module button, the test was successful. If the home screen displays and error displays on the module button, the test failed. Contact your local technical support provider or the distributor 6. Open the door Start 7. To release the optical test cartridge, push the release tab to the left NOTE: The cartridge is designed to fit only one way into 8. Remove the optical test cartridge and close the door the system. Do not force the cartridge into the analyzer. 9.
