Simulation Archiving Images Automatic Sending and Archiving of Images [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_automatic-archiving_01.mp3] It is possible to configure automatic sending and archiving of images in DICOM Properties. The accepted images are then automatically sent to the configured archiving nodes after the study is closed. In this simulation, we focus on how archiving is done manually. Select this study to send it to PACS for archiving. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (1/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_01.mp3] You can perform archiving manually in Patient mode… …or View mode. Let´s start with Patient mode. Under the Examined Patients list, select the studies and images you want to send to archive. Please select the study to continue. Deselect this image to exclude it from archiving. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (2/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_02.mp3] If you do not want to send all images from a study to the archiving node, you can exclude individual images from archiving. To do this, remove the tick from the corresponding images. Please deselect the image to continue. Select the Send Image icon. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (3/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_03.mp3] Then, select the Send Image icon. Please select the Send Image icon to continue. Select Send Image to send the images to the selected target. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (4/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_04.mp3] Next, you can select a target or multiple targets from the list. Click the DICOM Dose Report check box if necessary. If checked, a DICOM Structured Report will be generated and sent with the image. Click the SC Image check box if needed. The exam protocol will be generated as a DICOM Secondary Capture image and will be sent with the image. In our example we leave the selection as it is and select Send Image. The images are then sent to the selected target in the background. Please select Send Image to continue. Select the study to see which images have been archived. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (5/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_05.mp3] A letter icon with a green tick indicates that the study was successfully sent to the selected archive node. Select the study again to see the details. Please select the highlighted study to continue. Manual Archiving in Patient Mode (6/6) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-patientmode_06.mp3] As with the study, for each image sent to the archive node, a letter icon with a green tick indicates that archiving was successful. Select this icon to unmark the displayed image. Manual Archiving in View Mode (1/5) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-viewmode_01.mp3] In View mode, you can use the tools in the Select area to mark and unmark images for sending and archiving. Marked images are shown with a blue dot in the center at the left-hand side. Select this icon to unmark the displayed image. Please select the Deselect current image icon to continue. Select this icon to mark the displayed image again. Manual Archiving in View Mode (2/5) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-viewmode_02.mp3] The blue dot disappears and the image will not be send to the archive node. Select this icon to mark the image again. Please select the Select current image icon to continue Select this icon to send the images to the selected archive node. Manual Archiving in View Mode (3/5) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-viewmode_03.mp3] The blue dot reappears and the image is again marked for sending and archiving. You can also press Ctrl on your keyboard and left-click the image to mark or unmark it. These two icons allow you to ….mark all images of the study… …and unmark all images of the study. After the images have been prepared and marked for sending and archiving, you can select a Target from the list. Check the DICOM Dose Report and/or SC Image box if necessary. Select this icon. The images are then sent to the selected archive node in the background. Please select the Send Image(s) to archive node icon to continue Select this icon to check the job status. Manual Archiving in View Mode (4/5) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-viewmode_04.mp3] You can select the Job Status icon in the access bar to check if the images have been successfully sent to the archive node. Please select the Job Status icon to continue. Manual Archiving in View Mode (5/5) [sim_xp_vb10_multix-impact-e_manual-archiving-viewmode_05.mp3] The Job Status window opens. On the Send tab, you can see the Send and Archive status for each image transfer. You can restart an image transfer which has not been completed by selecting the appropriate transfer and clicking Retry. You can abort image transfers in certain phases during preparation of the job and between jobs by selecting the appropriate transfer and clicking Delete. To update the job status list, click Refresh.
