MR Neurology Imaging - AU/NZ

This course builds on core MRI principles and explores advanced neuro imaging techniques with an emphasis on practical application, protocol optimisation and clinical relevance. Participants will gain insight into how advanced sequences contribute to diagnosis within neurological practice, enabling them to perform complex examinations with greater confidence, accuracy and clinical understanding.

Topics covered include:

• Dynamic Susceptibility Contrast (DSC) perfusion imaging

• Arterial Spin Labelling (ASL)

• Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI)

• Blood Oxygen Level-Dependent (BOLD) fMRI

• MR Spectroscopy (SVS, CSI)

• Post-processing using syngo.via Advanced Visualisation workflows

This course is recommended for radiographers with a solid understanding of MRI who are seeking to strengthen their knowledge and proficiency in advanced MR neurology imaging techniques.
