Cardiac CTCA Reporting - Level A - AU/NZ

The course will provide participants with the opportunity to observe live patient scans, and to complete the work-up of these along with 100 library cases under the supervision of our level B experts. Library cases will include catheter correlated cases, and cases with non-coronary cardiac and non-cardiac findings.Topics covered include:- Patient selection and preparation including heart rate management- CT Physics and reconstruction techniques.- Radiation reduction and dose optimization.- CT Cardiac anatomy.- Introduction to Syngo.Via.- Understanding the clinical relevance of CTCA (including coronary pathology).- Anomalous coronary arteries.- Non-coronary cardiac abnormalities.- CTCA in acute chest pain.- Incidental non-cardiac chest findings on CT coronary angiography + CAD RADS.CT for TAVI.- An introduction to structural heart disease.- Expert readers: How I do it - reading a cardiac CTA dataset.
Live Cases: We will conduct live patient scanning sessions; however, please note that these sessions will not be included in the revised logbook requirements set by the Conjoint Committee.
