C0 Adjust Pack Calibrations on the Atellica® Solution Job Aid Version 1.26 and Above
This job aid provides instructions on C0 adjust pack calibrations on the Atellica® Solution.
Atellica® Solution SIEMENS C0 Adjust Pack Calibrations Job Aid Healthineers Siemens Healthineers Assays C0 Adjust Pack Calibrations – the Principles that use C0 Adjust Calibrations: What is it: *Acet *Trig ➢ A calibration that only uses one low level calibrator Chol_2 UA ➢ An adjustment of an existing calibration - there must be a Lot calibration to adjust GluO UN_C Is not a calibration type that can stand on its own If there is no lot calibration for the assay, the pack calibration will be a full calibration requiring calibrators ETOH PAmy o The CH assay test definition specifies the type of pack calibration an assay requires. IP Only select CH assays, shown in the chart to the right, use C0 Adjust pack calibrations using the CH Diluent, requiring no calibrator to be loaded. *NOTE: On Atellica CH Analyzers, Acet uses C0 Adjust. However, on Atellica CI Analyzers, Acet For operator-defined assays that use C0 Adjust pack calibrations, either a zero-level calibrator or CH Diluent is uses a full pack calibration. o used as the calibrator The assay Trig uses C0 Adjust, but Trig_2 (a newer version) does not use C0 Adjust. The The C0 Adjust calibrations are a linear calibration adjustment and use two terms to calculate a SMN can be used to confirm which version you are running. result – C0 and C1 C0: CH Diluent is used to adjust the calibration coefficient for the intercept term C0 for Did you know that C0 adjust is also referred to o the C0 adjust calibrations as a common term called a “Blank?” Pack calibrations requiring a blank and not a full o **C1: The slope term C1, or the slope of the calibration curve, is a unit of absorbance/unit of analyte pack calibration use C0 Adjust. **NOTE: (C1) for C0 adjust calibrations is derived from the previous full, viable calibration that utilized calibrator material. Refer to Online Help for more information on how the calibration coefficients are used. 1 Template Effective Date: 10 Aug 2021 | HILS 2223 Effective Date: 30-OCT-2024 | QR700014483 Unrestricted I Published by Siemens Healthineers AG | © Siemens Healthineers AG, 2024 Atellica® Solution SIEMENS C0 Adjust Pack Calibrations Job Aid Healthineers Setup > Callbration Setup Automatic Calibration Orders Automatic calibration is designed to perform all calibrations needed for the day, at a time Calibration Ordering that will not interfere with regular patient processing.
