This course is intended to teach candidates how to distinguish normal from abnormal breast tissue on digital mammogram and 2D ultrasound. Candidates will learn how to use the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) to characterize the different breast lesions an-d how to write a standardized informative report. A detailed analysis of the strengths and pitfalls of the different breast imaging modalities will be explained to enhance the sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic performance
