Examples: *On a CH analyzer, if the IMT (potentiometric) is down but the photometric module is still able to process samples. ** A calibration is due but has not met the configured warning threshold yet. Can system continue to process samples? Modules operating at full capacity? Does event create a tile-based “Need”? Should action be taken now to prevent a potential problem? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_001.mp3 This scenario will explain how to identify and navigate the alerts that occur when one of the supplies is running low. In this view the system is running with no alerts. Now let’s see what happens when one of the supplies goes below the laboratory defined threshold. ? Select Supply Needs Tile Select Supply Needs Tile Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_002.mp3 Now we see the alert that will appear on the home screen when a supply goes below the threshold – the Supply Needs tiles will turn red. In this case the supply is below threshold but is not yet empty, so the issue is not currently impacting sample processing. If you are looking at a different screen, you will be notified of this issue by the Notification Center icon turning red at the top of the screen. The Notification Center icon is displayed on every screen and the icon will animate when new alerts are added, and you are not viewing the home screen. If you select the Notification Center, you will see that the Supply Needs tile is red. To clear the error alert, you must address the supplies needed, click the Supply Needs tile either from the Notification Center or from the Home screen. Select Supply Needs Tile to continue. Select Supply Needs Tile to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_003.mp3 Selecting the Supply Needs tile opens the Supply Needs screen. Here we see that the CH conditioner is below the laboratory defined threshold on the system which is the reason for the alert. Since there is still enough CH conditioner to process samples. the system status map shows the CH module as green. ? Select Red Alert in System Status Map Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_004.mp3 Now let’s see what would happen if you let your CH conditioner run out. In this case, the system is no longer able to process samples, so you see that now you have a red alert in your system map. Select the red alert in the system status map. Select Red Alert in System Status Map to continue. ? Select Hand icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_005_edit.mp3 By selecting the red CH-01 module you can see the alert that the CH conditioner is indeed empty. To acknowledge the alert here, select the hand icon. Select Hand icon to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_006.mp3 After you have acknowledged the alert, you will see that the message text is now unbolded. The alert is not cleared, just acknowledged. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_007.mp3 To clear the alert from the supply needs tile, notification center and the system map load the CH conditioner. ? Note: Please click on the X in the upper right-hand corner to go back to the training Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_supplies_008.mp3 Once you load the supply on the system, the software will automatically indicate that the issue has been resolved by removing the red from the Supply Needs tile and Notification Center, and now the module status map is back to green for CH. This concludes the scenario of the process of system alerts for supplies running low. Please click on the X in the upper right-hand corner to go back to the training. Acknowledging Alerts ? Select Notification Center Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_acknowledge_001.mp3 This example will discuss alerts pertaining to a reagent bad barcode read. In this example, you have loaded some new reagents onto the system. When the system tries to read the reagent barcodes, it is not able to read the barcode for one of the packs. In this case, the only alert in the software will be that the Notification Center icon will turn red. Select the Notification Center for more information. Select Notification Center to continue. ? Select Hand icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_acknowledge_002_edit.mp3 Once inside the notification center, you can see the alert that the CH-01 cannot read the barcode on the reagent pack loader. Since the system is still able to process samples and no other tests are impacted, there will be no alerts on the tiles or the system status map. The system will automatically send the reagent pack back to the reagent tray where you can remove it, troubleshoot, and reload the pack. By utilizing the hand icon you can acknowledge the alert. Select the hand icon to continue. Select Hand icon to continue. ? Note: Please click on the X in the upper right-hand corner to go back to the training Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_acknowledge_003_edit.mp3 After you have acknowledged the alert by selecting the hand icon, you will see that the message is now unbolded. The number in the notification center also decrements by one, in this case the number is now 0. The alert message will remain in the notification center until the issue is resolved. This concludes the scenario of the process of system alerts for a reagent bad barcode read. Please click on the X in the upper right-hand corner to go back to the training. Troubleshooting Window ? Select Notification Center Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_001.mp3 In this example, there is an issue with the UPS not being detected. This causes a yellow warning alert to appear in the notification center. Select the notification center to continue. Select Notification Center to continue. ? Select Hand icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_002.mp3 After opening up the notification center you will see a notification that the UPS is not detected. By utilizing the hand icon you can acknowledge the alert. Select the hand icon to continue. Select Hand icon to continue. ? Select Troubleshoot button Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_003.mp3 To remove the alert message and the yellow banner, resolve the error by connecting the UPS. Let’s look at how you can view helpful troubleshooting information for this alert, if needed. Select the troubleshoot button. Select Troubleshoot button to continue. ? Select X to close the window. Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_004_edit.mp3 The Troubleshooting window opens with both the Operator Event Log and Online Help for the alert displayed. As shown, you can have up to two Troubleshooting windows open at once. If you close one of the windows, the other will maximize. Select the X to close the window. Select X to continue. ? Select Minimize icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_005_edit.mp3 You can see the maximized view of this window. Select the minimize icon. Select Minimize icon to continue. ? Select Minimize icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_006.mp3 After the initial minimization you will see this view. If you need to navigate to another window but you want to be able to easily navigate back to this screen, you can select the minimize icon. Select Minimize icon to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_007.mp3 An icon will display in the Toolbar. When you need to view that Troubleshooting window again, you can reopen that Troubleshooting window using the Toolbar icon. ? Select Minimized Troubleshooting icon Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_008.mp3 That icon will appear in the bottom toolbar of each screen even when you navigate away from the troubleshooting page. To reopen the troubleshooting screen, select the minimized troubleshooting icon. Select Minimized Troubleshooting icon to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_009.mp3 Now will appear a floating troubleshooting window that you can move around the screen, and you can always click the X to remove it completely. ? Note: Please click on the X in the upper right-hand corner to go back to the training Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_troubleshooting_010.mp3 This concludes this scenario.
