Testing Components There are two types of tests that can be run on the Atellica® LumIQ analyzer: Urine Strip Test hCG Cassette Test Select the tab arrows to learn more about the types of tests performed and their components. Urine Strip Test hCG Cassette test Testing Components Note: There are two types of tests that can be run on the Atellica® LumIQ analyzer. The urine strip test and the HCG cassette test. Note: A urine strip test measures parameters in human urine to aid in the assessment of various conditions. For example, kidney disease, metabolic disorders, liver disease, UTI. Module Button The Module button shows the name of the Module, its operating status (Ready or Not Ready) and alert indicators. Navigation Bar The Navigation bar contains the main menu button and screen title (i.e.. Home). Status Bar The Status bar displays the current date and time, login/logout button, operator ID and status indicators (IE, Wi-fi). ? Analyzer Icons and Buttons The Atellica® LumIQ analyzer has common icons and buttons the operator will use on a regular basis. Select the start button below to learn more about what each icon and button looks like and is used for. Select the numbered steps below to learn more about the different features of the Atellica Loomick analyzer. Note: The Atellica LumIQ analyzer has three module status indicator lights which display the following. Green. Solid or on indicates the module is ready. If flashing, the module is testing. White. If pulsing, the module is busy. Red. Solid indicates the module is not ready. If pulsing, the module is shutting down. Note: You can use the displays built-in camera to scan a barcode. To scan, tap the scan a barcode icon, then hold the barcode in the scan area. A green box outline appears on a successful scan. Tips for scanning. Make sure the barcode is in the center of the scan window. For items with more than one barcode, make sure you scan the intended barcode. Ensure proper lighting and avoid glare. Note: The on-screen keyboard is another way you can enter information by tapping the open touchscreen keyboard icon. Note: Follow the following steps in order to change your password. Note: To turn off the Module, press the Power button for 1-2 seconds, until the Module Red Status indicator starts to blink. The Test Table retracts. To turn off the Display, press the Power button. At the prompt, tap Power off. If a consumable is left on the Test Table, the instrument automatically opens. Make sure you remove all consumables from the Test Table before turning off the instrument. Do not pull the plug to turn off the analyzer. Note: Testing takes place on the Test Table insert. The Test Table has two sides: one for urine test strips and one for cassettes. Using the Test Table Insert Testing takes place on the Test Table insert. The Test Table has two sides: one for urine test strips and one for cassettes. 6 Turning off the Analyzer To turn off the Module, press the Power button for 1-2 seconds, until the Module Red Status indicator starts to blink. The Test Table retracts. To turn off the Display, press the Power button. At the prompt, tap Power off. If a consumable is left on the Test Table, the instrument automatically opens. Make sure you remove all consumables from the Test Table before turning off the instrument Do not pull the plug to turn off the analyzer 5 Changing Your Password To change your current password: Select the Main Menu icon Select Settings Select Security Select Change Password Enter your current password Enter your new password Re-enter new password Select Save 4 Entering Information Using the On-Screen Keyboard The on-screen keyboard is another way you can enter information by tapping the open touchscreen keyboard icon. 3 Entering Information Using the Camera You can use the displays built-in camera to scan a barcode.
