Teamplay usage provides functionality and key performance indicators KPIs to monitor and analyze the efficiency and performance of the diagnostic imaging processes in your institution. In this video you will learn which key performance indicators support you to analyze the performance of individual scanners of your fleet. Your aim is to monitor the current performance of your scanner fleet as a regular weekly or monthly check. To do this, you obtain a first impression on the dashboard. You can deepen your analysis for several CT and MRI scanner types on the scanner analytics page. On the dashboard, click the question mark symbol on the scanner analytics tile. A dialogue window opens with a brief explanation of the symbols and numbers shown on this tile. Click the scanner analytics tile for more details. To analyze the performance of a specific scanner, apply filters to quickly find the scanner that you are interested in. Select the relevant scanner from the scanner list. Specify a date range. Weekdays. And time of day that you want to analyze. Several different charts and graphs visualize key performance indicators for this scanner within the time period you defined. The scanner related bar chart gives you an overview of the total number of examinations performed with and without contrast agent. Are you satisfied with the volume of examinations performed on this scanner? You reached your institutional goal. Congratulations. Are you dissatisfied with these numbers? Continue with your analysis. The pie chart provides you with information about exam distribution by body part. Depending on your institutional fleet and strategy, you may decide that you want to increase or decrease the number of exams of certain body parts. The scanner exam graph illustrates the number of exams performed per day. Our example shows high fluctuations. The number of exams per day seems to be quite irregular for this MRI scanner. This could be a trigger for additional investigations. Perhaps on certain days more examinations with a long duration time are performed than on other days. Further performance indicators are number of exams by procedure type, exam duration and patient change overtime. These diagrams provide you with information about performance differences between the individual procedures. They also indicate the magnitude of these differences. These statistics might give you a clue as to whether examinations of some procedure types are very time consuming and whether they are under or overrepresented. With the analysis filter you can focus your analytical activities on specific procedure types. All charts will be recalculated accordingly and refreshed. If you notice a procedure type that you think requires a long time for completion, you can turn your attention to the protocol bar charts. These diagrams indicate which programs or protocols have been utilized for the displayed types of procedures. When you hover the mouse pointer over a bar diagram, the number of exams and mean exam duration for this protocol or program is displayed. If you know the usual examination times of your scanner protocols, you can determine whether one or the other protocol is out of the ordinary. For deeper investigations regarding exam duration, click the details and actions button and select the option exam duration analysis. On the opening page, a date duration graph visualizes the daily median exam duration for your selected time frame. If you notice a day with an unusually high exam duration, you can filter for this specific day. In this way you can further analyze the root cause of this observation. Also on this page, the protocols are split into their series. If you hover the mouse pointer over a series description bar chart, the count and mean duration of this series or sequence is displayed. With this information you may decide whether you need to readjust or remove some series and sequences of certain protocols and programs. Use the small slider bar to toggle between the different pages. If you need details of procedures and series other than those shown so far. Open the exam list from the details and actions button. This list displays every examination performed on the selected scanner within a defined date and time range and for the analysis filter if selected. A few more DICOM attributes like number of series or time between series are listed for each examination. This additional information may support you in your analysis activities. Invalid data like derived image types are dimmed. To return to the analysis overview page, use the small slider bar.
