Scanning • myExam Cockpit – Clinical decision trees are now also available for children. • You can now define the Study Description for each protocol using a clinical decision tree. • You can now change the Recon Strategy after scanning, for example to add an iMAR Recon job. • Only for NAEOTOM Alpha, NAEOTOM Alpha.Peak, NAEOTOM Alpha.Pro, NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime: Flex 4D Spiral* You can now manually configure the cycle time parameter – and maintain it during scan range selection. This includes additional combinations of scan ranges and cycle times becoming available. Exam Protocols • Only for NAEOTOM Alpha, NAEOTOM Alpha.Peak, NAEOTOM Alpha.Pro and NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime: ‘Liver Perfusion Alt’ is now available with the scan mode Quantumplus. • ‘Liver Intervention’ and ‘Liver Intervention 3D’ are now available with different contrast phases before the interventional procedure. • ‘Brain and Neck Multi Phase CTA’ is now available with different contrast phases as an al- ternative or additional option for brain perfusion. • CDTI measurement protocols are no longer available because of the new tool CTDI Individ- ual (see General Software Improvements below). * Optional. General software improvements • CT View&GO Dynamic Angio* – The visualization of blood flow is now possible based on time-resolved data. Movies, images and time attenuation curves (TACs) are created to visu- alize blood flowing from the arterial to the venous phases. This may support the inspec- tion of diseases which affect the vessel system, vascular malformations, control of stent graft extravasation, or the evaluation of tumor vascularization. • CTDI Individual allows you to perform any clinical scan mode as a technical axial scan in order to perform CTDI dose measurements. Medical physicists or trained and qualified per- sonnel with CTDI knowledge can use this function for CTDI dose measurements within their quality assurance program to verify the stated CTDI and its constancy. Sustainability • Not for SOMATOM go.Up and SOMATOM go.Now: Eco Power Mode – New feature to save energy consumption between examinations. FAST 3D Camera* • Collision indication – Before moving the table into the gantry, the software now indicates a potential collision. • Grid overlay – Visual feedback on tablets that shows whether you have positioned the pa- tient straight or rotated by overlaying a grid on the camera image. ----- * Optional. Emergency Imaging / Trauma Reading* • CT View&GO Brain Hemorrhage – Automatic detection of suspected acute intracerebral hemorrhages is now possible in CT View&GO. • CT View&GO Brain Hemorrhage SAH – Automatic detection of suspected acute subarach- noid hemorrhages (SAHs) is now possible in CT View&GO.
