Let’s begin by discussing the Device Overview area. Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_2.mp3 The Device Overview area displays an overview of all connected devices in a tree structure. Hospitals are at the top of the tree, followed by departments, then wards. Devices are assigned to wards and only wards with active devices are shown. Now let’s review the device connection status symbols. Table with 2 columns and 5 rows Symbol Status Busy status, connected Idle status, connected Not connected Unknown status/timeout while waiting for information (no update for more than 30 minutes) Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_3.mp3 [icon displays] represents devices that are connected, but in a busy status. [icon displays] represents devices that are connected, but in an idle status. [icon displays] represents not connected devices. And, [icon displays] represents devices in an unknown status or devices that have timed out while waiting for information. Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_4.mp3 The Device information area displays general information about the selected device. And the Device status information area can display information about fill levels, device status, and electrode status of the selected device, dependent upon data transferred from the device. This area can differ from device to device and some selected devices may not display any data in this area. The Display area displays all messages sent by the device selected in the Device overview area and the Filter options area allows you to filter the messages displayed in the Display area below by message type. Now let’s review the Display area error symbols. Table with 2 columns and 5 rows Symbol Status Uncommented error Commented error Warning Maintenance message Table with 2 columns and 6 rows Symbol Status <> Unknown message interpreted as an error Message. Pure information Message from POCcelerator device monitoring Commented POCcelerator message Commented message from POCcelerator device monitoring Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_5.mp3 [icon displays] represents an uncommented error. While [icon displays] represents commented errors, where the error was corrected. [icon displays] represents a warning, device message, i.e., The batteries are nearly empty. The device is not locked, but requires upcoming action. And [icon displays] represents a device message about maintenance performed by a user. [icon displays] displays as ‘not available’ and represents an unknown message interpreted as an error. [icon displays] represents a purely informational message. [icon displays] represents a message from POCcelerator device monitoring i.e., QC frequency, Download error, or Reporting frequency signal lights. [icon displays] represents a commented POCcelerator message and the eye symbolizes that the entry is still “under observation”. The error is not removed yet. And [icon displays] represents commented messages from POCcelerator device monitoring where the error has been cleared. Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_6.mp3 And finally the Status information area displays colored signal lights indicating how many messages and errors exist for the selected device. QC frequency – Was the time interval between the QC measurements of a device correct? Download error – Did the download of data succeed within the required timeframe? Calibration error – Is there a calibration result that is outside the defined monitoring limits? Only available with the additional Calibration Monitor Reporting frequency – Did the device send any data or react on a status request from Meditrac™ software within the required timeframe? Device error – Is there an uncommented error message from the device? Under the Resources tab, you can access the Process Monitor Screen Symbols and Signal Lights Information Job Aid for reference. Blank poccelerator_processmonitor_7.mp3 The QC frequency signal light captures QC measurements that exceed a device’s QC time interval. The Download error signal light captures errors in the download of data within the required timeframe. The Calibration error signal light captures calibration results outside the defined monitoring limits and is only available with the additional Calibration Monitor module. The Reporting frequency signal light captures errors with devices sending any data or reacting on a status request from Meditrac within the required timeframe. And the Device error signal light captures uncommented error messages from devices. For additional help, select the Resources tab to access the Process Monitor Screen Symbols and Signal Lights Information Job Aid. The job aid includes all the symbols and signal lights information covered in this video and can be downloaded for use.
