If an adaptation to a customer-specific cable solution is required, this must be performed during startup. Any such cable can be rolled up at the rear of the unit when it is not in use. Connecting and displaying the video source After you have connected an additional unit, you have to initiate a configuration run at the Video Manager so that the newly connected unit is detected. Press this key (on hand-held control or foot switch) until the information is REF displayed on the monitor, that the system is scanning for valid inputs. 9 .-. 00 The configuration run starts; if an image was displayed, it disappears (monitor is black) and the input designations of the Video Manager that are being checked are continuously displayed at the bottom of the screen. Once the configuration run is completed, the previously displayed image is shown again. Please note: If you unintentionally press this key for longer during an examina- tion, the input sources will be searched through again. You can cancel the process by pressing this key again briefly. Storing a video frame Press this button for storing video frames on the foot switch. The video frames are displayed on the reference monitor in the examination room and on the second monitor in the control room. The video frames are stored simultaneously in DICOM format in the imaging system.
