Assessment Slide Patient examination workflow Study Description as query filter You can now filter your patient list using the Study Description query field. This applies to both Pre-registered Patients and Examined Patients. ? Resuming an examination You can now resume the examination of a closed study using the new function in the Examined Patients tab in patient mode. Select desired closed study under Result List. Click under the Operation tab. The selected study will be transferred to the Pre-registered Patients tab. The study can be resumed for examination. Please note: The resume button is not available for imported or retrieved studies. Video ? Resuming an examination [audf_mxi_va21e_3.2.mp3] You can now resume the examination of a closed study using the new function in the Examined Patients tab in patient mode. To do so, select the desired closed study under Result List and click the resume icon under the Operation tab. The selected study will then be transferred to the Pre-registered Patients tab and the study can be resumed for examination. Layer 1: You can now sort OGPs by their Accession Number, if multiple studies are selected. Any OGPs arranged in the same row contain the same accession number. You can also change the order of the OGPs within the same Accession Number by dragging and dropping the tiles. The new layout also applies to Ortho OGP. Please note: A changed order will remain even after closing and re-opening the exam, but the new order cannot be saved as a default in the database. Layer 2: The Study and OGP information is displayed in the user interface. It indicates the current and selected study along with the corresponding OGP. If you do not check the checkbox, the same OGP layout as in the previous version will be applied. By default, the checkbox is not checked. 2 Study & OGP information The Study and OGP information is displayed in the user interface. Patient Size and Mode Changes made to adapt the Patient Size or the Mode will also apply to other OGPs: A change to the Patient Size for one OGP within a study (for example, from Medium to Small) will also be applied to the rest of the OGPs within all the studies. A change to the Mode for one OGP (for example, from Wall to Table) will also be applied to the rest of the OGPs within the same accession number. In this case, if the name of one individual Ortho OGP is changed, the names of the rest of the individual Ortho OGPs will also be changed accordingly. Layer 3: If the name of the OGP has been edited, an asterisk appears in front of the new OGP on the thumbnail image in both patient mode and examination mode. Layer 4: If Hybrid Image Documentation (HID) is enabled, editing the name of the OGP will cause the name of the HID image to be modified accordingly as well. Layer 5: There are a few limitations when changing the OGP name. You cannot edit the name of the composed image called Ortho_Finished in an ortho study. And you can never include an asterisk as the first letter or the string Ortho_Finished as a new name. In this case, if the name of one individual Ortho OGP is changed, the names of the rest of the individual Ortho OGPs will also be changed accordingly. In this example, the new names are FullSpine lat_w180_t130_1, FullSpine lat_w180_t130_2 and FullSpine lat_w180_t130_3. 2 Ortho OGP list The OGP name of the Ortho group can be edited under Ortho OGP list in examination mode before acquisition. Once it has been edited, the names of all the individual Ortho OGPs in this group will be changed accordingly. This meant that if there were unacquired OGP tiles after finishing the examination, the study with unacquired OGPs remained in the Pre-registered Patients tab card. With VA21E, there are multiple options in the User Settings to customize system behavior according to your preferences. Layer 1: This overview provides an explanation of the Show study status dialog options. Layer 2: Please note: If the MPPS node is configured, the Show study status dialog option in the User Settings is dimmed and not available. Closing a study without MPPS: The VA21E version offers multiple options in the User Settings to customize system behavior when MPPS is not configured. This includes a pop-up dialog when switching back to the patient list, which was not available in previous versions. Detent engagement optimization: This optimization applies only to the Multix Impact C. The transversal detent is engaged according to the currently selected acquisition type (Wall, Table, or Free). Arrow tool: A new arrow tool has been introduced in the post-processing mode, allowing users to draw arrows to highlight important landmarks in the image. To delete an arrow, simply right-click and select delete. L/R label font size adjustment: The default font size for the left and right (L/R) labels has been enlarged to improve visualization. Users can now individually adjust the font size for L/R labels and other texts. This can be preset in the User Settings under Image Processing Properties.
