In this video, you will learn more about the Team Play Contrast Inventory feature. The inventory page helps you to monitor and track your inventory of contrast media. A selection of filter options on the left hand side allows you to refine your data criteria. The metrics calculated provide you with insights into your institution's number of examinations performed with contrast medium as well as the total volume of contrast media consumed. If you would like to know how these metrics are distributed across different areas, select your focus area from the distribution information charts. For example, Body regions. The chart immediately shows all the body regions that contribute to the total quantities. In our example, 10 chest examinations have been performed with a total contrast media consumption of 590 milliliters. If you want to see how the metrics are distributed across contrast media brand names, change your focus area accordingly. Please take into consideration that the metrics and distribution information displayed refer to the filter criteria you have selected on the left side. The summary table drills down the data of the metrics and charts above. Here you get details associated with the modality type and contrast medium brand name, such as the volume per unit, the consumed volume, and the related number of examinations. Our example shows that with the Mr. Contrast Medium Clariskin, 2 examinations were performed with 13 milliliters, another two examinations with 14 milliliters, one with 10 milliliters and so forth. The inventory feature gives you transparency about your institution's usage of contrast media by modalities, body regions, brand names, and even specific injector models.
