System Cleanup and Shutdown Biograph Vision, mCT and mCT Flow VG7x Description: This step by step procedure will assist the user in activating system cleanup and shutdown on the Biograph Vision, mCT and mCT Flow (VG7x) scanners. This procedure should be completed once weekly to clean up and defragment disks. This procedure may take up to 2-3 hours but can be cancelled at any time. 1. Exit all examinations and applications and make sure system is in an idle state. 2. Remove all media from the syngo MI Acquisition Workplace and syngo MI Workplace computers. 3. Shut down the syngo MI Workplace computer, if present. a. Select System > End. b. Select Shutdown System. End Session X Log Off ... Shutdown System .. Restart System ... Restart Application .. Standby Cancel Help c. Click Yes to the confirmation dialog. 4. On the syngo Acquisition Workplace console, select System > Run > System Cleanup and Shutdown. System Clean Up and Shutdown The system clean up may take a few hours. After clean up the system wil automaticaly shut down. You may stop the system cleanup at any time by using the "Cancel" button. The system will then shut down. Remember to turn off the power for the complete system at the control box buton and then proceed with the normal start up procedure. Start Cancel 6. Click the Start button to start the cleanup and shutdown procedure. 7. After the cleanup is complete, the CT scanner, syngo Acquisition Workplace, IRS, and MARS will shutdown. 8. After the scanner is turned off, wait 5 minutes. 9. Turn on the power to the CT scanner and computers by pressing the System On button on the rear of the control box. The system is ready for scanning when all the disk icons in the lower right corner are visible and show adequate space remaining. 73% 26% 11. Proceed with daily quality control procedures.
