CN-3000 and CN-6000 Systems SIEMENS Healthineers Wipe the Piercer Job Aid Wipe the Piercer – As Needed Maintenance 1. Verify the instrument status is Warming Up, Ready, or Not Ready and all main unit covers are closed 2. Press Maintenance > Execute > Wipe off the piercer > Execute • The piercer moves to the front and when movement is complete a confirmation dialog box appears 3. Turn off the main power switch 4. Open the operation cover 5. Attach the piercer maintenance jig to sample arm A 6. Secure the piercer maintenance jig • Hold the jig down while pushing the lever up and clockwise to lock 7. Using a cloth moistened with purified water, wipe the piercer clean 8. Unlock and remove the piercer maintenance jig 9. Close the operation cover 10.
