The MI organ processing is integrated in the MI reading workflow. To access am I organ processing left click on the MI Organ processing task. From the workflow template browser category menu, select a category and launch the appropriate processing workflow template by left clicking. The workflow will open and automatically starts processing. On the left side of the workflow window is the workflow navigater. It lists the activities within the workflow. A workflow consists of a set of tasks called activities connected together that passed the image data between one another to perform an overall task. The activities are combined in a sequence to automate a clinical procedure. A check mark will appear next to an activity when it is completed. There are a number of activities available. The most common activities in a workflow include data selector, quality control, flexibel display, and hard copy. If the workflow needs to be paused, left click the pause icon. Left click play to resume the workflow. Left clicking on the complete icon will complete the workflow and store the results in the findings navigator or print workflow step. The data selector is the first activity in a workflow and is required for all workflows. Left Click to open the data selector. The purpose of the data selector activity is to filter the incoming patient data and assign the data to the available workflow inputs. Data selector supports automatic matching of data and workflow inputs, allowing for the entire patient data set to be loaded, as opposed to selecting individual series. The data selector activity ensures also that only data from one patient is processed in a workflow and only the data the workflow is configured to accept is allowed into the workflow. The upper portion of the screen is the data selection area. 1 tab per study is available. The tab name is the study name and study date. Each series in the study appears in a small series display area with the series name and date directly above it. To visualize the images in the series, select the show image checkbox directly below the image display. If the patient data set has two or more series that match a specific workflow input, the data selector chooses the series with the most recent date. The lower portion of the screen contains the workflow inputs. At least one workflow series input needs to be connected in order to process the workflow. When configured accordingly, the data selector will identify the correct series to process in the workflow input area. When data has been matched to a workflow input, a plug icon will be displayed. The workflow input will remain empty if not matched with appropriate data. To visualize the images, select the show image checkbox directly below the image display. The data selector also allows for manual drag and drop of series to the workflow inputs. Select the desired series with the Left mouse click and drag and drop to the desired workflow input. To modify or configure the workflow, left click workflow input properties. Each input can be configured for. Workflow input name. Optional or required? Data level study or series. Modality? Series type. Name contains. The toolbar contains the following icons. Print provides one shot printing. Get series information provides dycom information from the loaded series. If all required workflow inputs are not matched, then the data selector will present the error icon and error dialog indicating a correction is needed. If all required workflow inputs are matched successfully to the incoming data, then the data selector will pass the processing token to the next activity. In this example, quality control. A check mark will appear indicating the activity is complete. To enter quality control, left click on the activity. The quality control activity is used to assess incoming raw data for motion and apply motion correction if needed. In this example, quality control is demonstrated using a dynamic series click the series pull down menu to display the loaded series and select the desired series. If more than one are available. Click the city icon and visually inspect the images for motion. If motion is observed, click the Motion Correction series icon. The motion correction window appears. Select the desired mode of correction by clicking the single frame mode icon to correct one frame at a time. Adjustments are applied only to the selected frame. To correct multiple frames utilized the multi frame mode icon to correct the current frame and all frames that follow by the same amount of shift. To begin, left click the cross tool and drag the reference cross to a section of anatomy where the image shift can clearly be visualized. Select either the single or multi frame icon. The cursor will change to a hand. Click inside the desired frame and drag to the desired location. Once the data has been configured to user preference, left click on OK. Click the processing activity to continue with the processing. The quality Control Settings tab page settings will differ depending on the workflow template selected. To enter Flexibel display left click on the activity. The flexibel display activity is used to display and arrange processed data. It can contain one or more display pages, with each page displaying one or more display objects. To switch between the displays, click on the desired tab.
