To prepare the tube, press the SmartMove button on the remote control. Please select the SmartMove button to continue. Position tube [ysio_xpree_va20_step6_8.wav] Keep the button pressed until the X-ray tube assembly and the detector have moved to the start position of the selected examination. For our Ortho examination, the tube stops at a source image distance of three meters to the wall stand. For a Whole Spine examination, the patient has to stand on a platform in front of the wall stand. Adjust collimation [ysio_xpree_va20_step6_9.wav] The myExam 3D Camera shows you the patient on the workstation monitor. The Auto Long Leg and Full Spine Collimation function is automatically active. The function detects the region of interest and suggests a collimation, shown by the blue ROI. You can also see how many exposures the system will take and stitch together during postprocessing. In our example, three exposures are necessary. In general, up to four exposures are possible for standing Ortho examinations. You can adapt the range of the Ortho scan virtually or by manually moving the tube. To change it virtually, select the frame and pull it where you want it. To change the range manually, simply tilt the tube. If you want to change the collimation width, you can also pull the frame on the workstation monitor or use the knobs on the collimator. Please select the collimation frame to continue. Press the acquisition button to continue. Exposure release [ysio_xpree_va20_step6_10.wav] Once you have specified the collimation to your preferred settings, you are ready to release an exposure. Since we will need three exposures, you have to keep pressing the acquisition button until all exposures have been released. A system message tells you how long to press the button and when to release it. On the system, you can press either of the acquisition buttons. We will use the acquisition button on the control box. Please select the acquisition button to continue. Study ID 5aae857 Select the Viewing tab to continue.
