Note: Hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Home Screen. Home screen [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_2.mp3] After startup, or after the system has not been used for a while, the Home screen is displayed. On top of the home screen and every other tab card, you find the Access bar. In the bottom left corner of every tab card, the System messages bar is located. With the Lock Screen tile, you lock and unlock your workplace. And by selecting the Examination tile, you start the examination workflow for a patient. Hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Home Screen. When you’re done, select Examination to continue. Table with 2 columns and 6 rows The current system status, messages, and the current date and time are displayed. Black: Status OK, the system is ready for operation. (Acquisition is not possible, because the system is not in acquisition mode.) A number indicates the number of messages. Select to view the messages. Green: Status OK, the system is ready for acquisition. (Acquisition is possible, because the system is in acquisition mode.) Yellow: Status not OK, the system is not ready for acquisition. Red: Status not OK, the system is not ready, acquisition is not possible. Scheduler Tab When you’re done, select Exam to proceed. Scheduler tab [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_3.mp3] After you select Examination on the Home screen, the Scheduler tab is displayed. The Scheduler is where you select the patient and procedure and start the examination. Here, you can also manually register a patient. If patient data or procedure data is incorrect or incomplete, you can correct it here, in the Scheduler. To start the examination immediately, you tap the Exam button. With your mouse cursor, hover over the colored callouts to learn more about the areas of the Scheduler tab card. When you’re done, select the Exam button to proceed to the next workflow step. If you have patients that are not supplied by the HIS/RIS, you can Add a Patient or add an Emergency Patient . To update the patient/procedure list, tap the Refresh Worklist icon. New patients from the HIS/RIS may appear in the patient list. The patient/procedure list contains the patients pre-registered for an examination, either via HIS/RIS or manually. You select the desired patient from this list. To change the sort order of the patients, tap an entry in the header. To select a patient, tap the patient name. The assigned procedures are shown. The demographic data of the patient are displayed on the right. To select a procedure, tap the procedure name. The assigned clinical protocols are displayed on the right. Access information through the full-text Search : To search for a patient or a patient ID, enter a name or number or part of it. The patient list is filtered immediately. You can enter words, phrases, or questions. The search is not case-sensitive. For example, Bone and bone lead to the same results. You can use * as a wildcard character. For example, *one will find “ st one”, “ b one”, “ pr one”. You can use Boolean operators to semantically connected words, for example, AND, OR, NOT. The Institution tab is where you enter necessary institution data. The Exam Information tab is where you enter the necessary examination data. Before starting the examination, you must assign one or more Clinical Protocols to the procedure. You can change the examination parameters using the body model. In the Patient Registration tab, you enter any known demographic data of the patient. Please select Exam to proceed after reading through the callouts. Local Data Tab When you’re done, select the Home Screen icon to finish the workflow. Local data tab [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_4.mp3] In the Local Data tab, you manage the patients and studies. You can also start the review or postprocessing process, by selecting the patient or study. Or you can import or export study data. With the Search field you can search for a patient or study. To filter the patient list, tap the Filter by button and select the criteria. With your mouse cursor, hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Local Data tab card. When you’re done, select the Home Screen icon to finish the workflow. Please select the Home Screen icon to proceed after reading through the callouts. Available functions for Local Data and Series/Instances : To open selected objects for viewing, tap the Open button. You can import studies, series, or single images. You can export patients, studies, series, instances, or single images. Select the data you want to export; multi-selection is possible. You can delete patients, studies, series, instances, or single images. To select an item, tap the check box. To extend the patient list to a full page, tap the > icon. An arrow icon indicates the sorting order. To change the sorting order of the patients, tap an entry in the header. The patient/study list shows you the patient entry and the assigned studies. To start a new examination, you tap the menu icon of the patient or study entry and then New examination . To select a patient, tap the patient name. The assigned studies are shown. The series data of the patient are displayed on the right. To search for a patient or study, tap the Search field. Then enter a name, or number/date, or a part of it. The patient list is filtered immediately. To filter the patient list, open the Filter by list and select the criteria in the popup window. To remove all filters, tap the Reset icon. To remove a specific filter, tap the x icon that appears next to the selected filter. Examination Mode When you’re done, select Viewing to proceed. Examination mode [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_5.mp3] After patient registration, you have started the examination. The Examination mode is the workspace in which you conduct an exposure. The system guides you through the examination. Depending on the workflow configuration, these steps follow each other: Examination, Viewing, and Distribution. You access the next workflow step by tapping the Next button or by tapping the workflow step in the list directly. With your mouse cursor, hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Examination tab card. When you’re done, select the Viewing tab to proceed to the next workflow step. To learn about the Examination tools in detail, see further YSIO X.pree learning objects on PEPconnect. You access the next workflow step by tapping the Next button. Alternately, you can tap the workflow step in the list above. Tabs of opened patients are shown in the Access bar. The active patient is highlighted by an orange bar. Studies symbolized with a table were opened from the Scheduler . Only one study from the Scheduler can be opened at a time. Studies symbolized with a person were opened from the Local Data . Please select Viewing to proceed after reading through the callouts. Viewing Mode When you’re done, select Distribution to proceed. Please note: This image is a phantom image. Viewing mode [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_6.mp3] Directly after acquisition or after loading from Local Data, you can view and process the displayed image. The viewing and postprocessing tools are arranged into four sets: Favorite Tools, Image Manipulation, Measurement and Annotation, and Image Visualization. You can hide all tools except the Favorite Tools by tapping the < icon. With your mouse cursor, hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Viewing tab card. When you’re done, select the Distribution tab to proceed to the next workflow step. You can change the layout of the image area by tapping the Layout icon and then tapping the desired layout. You can access various functions in the Static Tools . The assortment of Static Tools depends on your licenses and on your progress in the Examination or Viewing workflow steps. You can configure a set of Favorite Tools from the available tools. To learn about the Viewing Tools in detail, see further YSIO X.pree learning objects on PEPconnect. You can step forward or backward in the workflow with the Back or Next button. Alternately, you can tap the workflow step in the list above. Please select Distribution to proceed after reading through the interactive hotspots. Distribution Mode When you’re done, select the Dose Report to proceed. Distribution mode [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_7.mp3] After completion of the examination and postprocessing, you can export, archive, or print images in the Distribution mode. On this page, you can also open the Dose Report, where X-ray radiation events are logged. With your mouse cursor, hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Distribution tab card. When you’re done, we want to take a look at the Dose Report. To select or deselect an image, tap the check box in the image. To select all images, tap the check box next to Select all . If available and configured, you can film images to a hardcopy camera or print images. If you select True Size printing, the center of the image will be printed. Depending on the image and film size, border areas of the image may be cropped. This can result in the loss of labels or annotations. Images and the assigned patient or study data can be transferred to an archive or workstation. Depending on your configuration, the transfer is started automatically when you close the study. Alternately, you can start the transfer manually. You can export to a default destination or select an alternative destination. Please select Dose Report to proceed after reading through the callouts. When you’re done, select X to close the Dose Report. Dose report [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_8.mp3] All X-ray acquisitions for a patient are logged in the X-Ray Radiation Dose Report. With your mouse cursor, hover over the orange callouts to learn more about the areas of the Dose Report. When you’re done, select the X to close the Dose Report. Each line stands for an X-ray radiation event (acquisition). Patient and study data and the Total DAP (μGy*m²) (total dose area product) are displayed. Please select X to proceed after reading through the callouts. Select Close to proceed. Distribution mode 2 [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_9.mp3] We are back on the Distribution tab card. By tapping the Close button, you finish the workflow. Please select Close to proceed. Select Local Data to proceed. Scheduler tab [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_10.mp3] After you have selected Close, the Scheduler opens again. As a last step, we want to take a look at the Local Data tab card. Please select Local Data to proceed. Home Screen 2 Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation. Click Retry to try the simulation again. To go back to the simulation overview, click Overview. Select Next to read the Disclaimer and exit the learning activity. Retry Overview Next Home screen 2 [audf_syngo_xr_va20_ui_sim1_11.mp3] You have gone back to the Home Screen. From here, you can start the workflow anew. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation. Click Retry to try the simulation again. To go back to the simulation overview, click Overview.
