Change User Role Depending on the use case scenario in your facility, it may be necessary to change the user role. Click the Menu icon. Click Logout. The Login dialog box appears. Select the User Role. Enter your user credentials. Click Login. Change User Role [syngovc_modality_steering_client_scenario_change_user_role.mp3] Depending on the use case scenario of syngo Virtual Cockpit in your facility, it may be necessary to change the user role. First, click the menu icon and click logout The login dialog box appears. Select the desired user role. Enter your user credentials and click login. ? Configure Audio Device You can control and configure your audio device settings. Click the Menu icon. Select Settings. Select Audio. Configure microphone: Select corresponding device from Input list Configure speakers: Select corresponding device from the Output list Configure Audio Device [syngovc_modality_steering_client_scenario_configure_audio_device.mp3] You can control and configure your audio device settings. To do so, click the menu icon. From the menu, select settings and audio. To configure your microphone, select the corresponding device from the input list. To configure your speakers, select the corresponding device from the output list. If you cannot hear your colleague during a call or your colleague cannot hear you, please check the audio device settings first. ? Start a Call You can interact with logged-in users via the chat functionality: 1. Select a person or group from the Contacts or from the Conversation section. 2. Click the Call icon next to the contact name. The contacted person has to accept the call. From the Steering client, you can also start a call from the Conversation section in the modality slots. Start a Call [syngovc_modality_steering_client_scenario_start_call.mp3] You can interact with logged-in users via the chat functionality: Select a person from the Contacts or from the Conversation section and click the call icon next to the contact name. The contacted person has to accept the call. From the Steering client, you can also start a call from the Conversation section in the modality slots. ? Change Layout At the Steering Client , you can change the display of the modality slots to meet your requirements. It is possible to: Change the layout Resize the modality slots Lock the modality slots. Select the numbered steps below to learn how to change the layout of the modality slots. 1 1 1 2 2 2 3 3 3 4 4 4 Change Layout [syngovc_modality_steering_client_scenario__change_layout.mp3] At the Steering client, you can change the display of the modality slots to meet your requiremets. You can change the layout, resize the modality slots and lock a modality to a modality slot. Close modality 4 Click the X icon to close the modality. Inform the Modality Technologist before you end the Expert-i remote connection. Lock modality 3 Click the lock icon on the right border of the modality slot, to lock the modality to the modality slot. The modality will be opened automatically in the modality slot, the next time the Steering Client is opened. Click the unlock icon, to unlock the modality from the modality slot. Resize modality slots On the second monitor of the Steering Client, you can change the size of the modality slots. 2 To enlarge the corresponding modality slot, click the resize icon (< or >) on the top of the screen. To resize the modality slots to equal size, click the I icon on the top of the screen. Switch screen layout You can switch the order of the Conversation section and Camera sections of the modality slots. 1 Click this icon on the right border of the modality slot, to switch the screen layout. The Conversation section and the Camera sections align vertically. Click this icon to align the Conversation section and Camera sections horizontally. ? Modality Technologist As the Modality Technologist, you can use the communication functionalities of the syngo Virtual Cockpit to interact with other users who are logged in using the chat, call or request attention functionalities. When you allow the Steering Technologist to connect with your modality, you can choose between two Connection Modes: View Only: Enables the remote user to see your modality acquisition screen Full Access: Enables the remote user to directly operate the system Modality Technologist [syngovc_modality_steering_client_additional_slides-technologist_part1.mp3] As the Modality Technologist, you can use the communication functionalities of the syngo Virtual Cockpit to interact with other users who are logged in via the chat, call or request attention functionalities. When you allow the Steering Technologist to connect with your modality, you can choose between two Connection Modes: The View Only mode enables the remote user to see your modality acquisition screen. The Full Access mode enables the remote user to directly operate the system. ? Learn how to use syngo Virtual Cockpit as the Modality Technologist Modality Technologist Simulation To enable the Expert-i remote connection, you have to provide the Access Code for authentication to the Steering Technologist. Physician The syngo Virtual Cockpit can be installed on the Physician's workplace as well. The Steering Technologist can invite a Physician to a screen sharing session with view-only access. The Physician needs to accept the screen share invitation. When the screen sharing session has started, the Physician can see the Steering Client’s modality screen. Either the Physician or the Steering Technologist can stop the session. In addition, the Physician client has the chat and the call functionality available. For detailed information about screen sharing, please refer to the screen sharing job aid. Physician [syngovc_modality_steering_client_scenario_physician_v2.mp3] The syngo Virtual Cockpit can be installed on the Physician's workplace as well.
