When stacking is configured, if duplicates are available for the stage and view, a stacked stress echo icon appears in the top left corner of the image window. Please note that it can also be configured that the images are not stacked, and the duplicates follow the Primary image for the stage and view. This can be configured in the syngo Dynamics Server Configuration Tool. ? Stacking Stress Echo Images: New Icons Stack icon with duplicates A multi-layer icon indicates that there are duplicate images. The current image number and the total number of images (Primary and duplicates) are displayed in the icon, for example 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3. Primary image in non-stack layout or when there are no duplicates. The Primary image for this particular view is by default the image with the earliest acquisition time. The Primary image is represented by a check mark. Edit icon for non-stress images or duplicates An edit icon is available for non-primary duplicate images in non-stacked mode or for non-stress images. Stacking Stress Echo Images: New Icons Audio text [sd_va40e_wp_33_stress-echo-new-icons.wav] New icons are available for stress echo images to indicate if the duplicate images are stacked, if an image is assigned as the Primary image or to indicate that an image can be edited. ? Stress Echo Stacked Images Navigation Stress Echo Stacked Images Navigation Audio text video [sd_va40e_wp_35_sesi-navigation.wav] – NEW VIDEO In VA40, it can be configured for stress echo duplicates of the same stage and view, to be stacked in the image view port. When the duplicate images are configured to stack in image review, the duplicates of the same stage and view are stacked together, and the stress echo icon appears as a stacked icon and can be used for editing. When the images are configured not to stack, the duplicates from the same stage and view are displayed individually. When no duplicate images exist for a stage and view, the Primary image icon is displayed. If the images are configured to stack, and duplicates do exist, an editing icon is displayed. The edit icon is also displayed for non-stress images. The layout is automatically selected in Image Review, based on the number of views or stages available, but never less than a 4 by 1 layout. The layout that best represents the correct number will be selected from the standard layouts. In Stage layout, the layout used is determined by the number of Views for the stage. In View layout, the layout used is determined by the number of stages. Alternatively, it can be configured to always have the images displayed in a four to one layout. If duplicates are available for a specific stage and view, the images appear with a stacked icon. The first number on the stacked icon represents the currently selected image number. The second number represents the total number of images available for the given view. To navigate through the stack, click on the stacked icon. Alternatively, you can use your mouse to navigate through the stack. With the clip playing, press and hold your left mouse button. Move the mouse to the right to move forward through the stack. When you release the mouse button the next image in the stack is displayed. Press and hold your left mouse button. Move the mouse to the left to move backwards through the stack. When you release the mouse button, the previous image in the stack is displayed. ? Edit Stress Echo Edit Stress Echo Audio text video [sd_va40e_wp_36_edit-stress-echo.wav] – NEW VIDEO Regardless of stacking, the image with the earliest timestamp for a given stage or view is considered as the Primary image. The Primary image is the first image displayed for the stage and view. syngo Dynamics defines the Primary image based on the acquisition time and date stamp. By default, the image with the earliest time and date stamp is defined as the Primary image. The Primary image is displayed with a checkmark in the stress echo icon. A different Primary image from the duplicate images for the stage and view can be assigned. Navigate to the desired image. Press and hold the CTRL key on your keyboard and left mouse click on the icon. A Refresh indicator appears on the Layout icon. Click on the icon to refresh. If you do not click on the Refresh icon, the Primary image is not saved. The new Primary image is displayed as the first image. This image is maintained as the Primary image each time the study is opened. If an image was sent to syngo Dynamics with an incorrect label, you can reassign the image label. Right click on the stress echo icon. Two drop down menus are displayed, one for Stage and one for View. Click on the appropriate drop-down menu to change the stage and/or view. After the image has been reassigned, the Refresh icon is displayed. Click on the Refresh icon to update the display and save your settings. If you do not press on the Refresh icon the changes are not saved. After the image has been reassigned, a yellow border is displayed around the stress echo icon to indicate the image label was manually updated. To revert the changes, right click on the icon and select “Reset to…”. Please note, when you reassign an image, the image will be moved to the correct stage and view group. Depending on the image that was reassigned, it is possible that a new Primary image will be assigned. For example, if the image being reassigned has an earlier time stamp than the existing Primary image for the stage and view, the new image will become the new Primary image. However, if the Primary image was user defined then the image will not be made the Primary image regardless of the timestamp. In a different scenario if the image being reassigned is the Primary image for the stage and view, upon reassignment the image with the earliest time stamp from the duplicate images will be assigned as the Primary image. Any primary images that have been manually assigned are retained. If a non-stress image was incorrectly labelled as a stress echo image, you can edit the label. Right click on the stress echo icon. Select non-Stress from either the Stage or View drop down menu. Select the Refresh icon. The image is moved from the previously assigned stage and view to the non-stress images and sorted based on the time and date stamp. A yellow border appears around the non-stress icon, indicating that the image label was manually updated. Right click on the icon to display the current labels. Both the stage and the view are updated to non-stress, regardless of which dropdown menu was used to do the reassignment. To revert the change, click on “Reset to…” in the menu. If required, you can revert all edits made to stress echo images so that the images are restored to the display sent from the modality. Click on the layout button in the Toolbar. Select Revert Stress Echo Edits. If required, you can add or rename stages or views using the Edit Stress Echo option. Click on the layout button in the Toolbar. Select Edit stress echo. Select the tab for editing, Stage or View. Click on Add Stage or Add View as applicable. Add the new name of the stage or the View. Select Save. The newly added stage or view is now available for selection when you right click on the stress echo icon. You can also rename a stage or view from the Edit stress echo dialog. Simply open the dialog and highlight the stage or view name from either the modality sent stage or view or from the user defined stage or view and enter a different label. You may also delete a user defined stage or view. Please note that you cannot delete a stage or view that was sent from the modality. It is also important to note that when an image is assigned to a user defined stage or view that stage or view cannot be deleted until the images assigned to it are reassigned to a different stage or view. If there is an error with a newly created stage or view name, an error message is displayed. If you move your mouse over the error, a tooltip appears indicating the error. For example, you must use a unique name for the stage or view name. In the case that you enter a name that already exists, an error message is displayed. The save button remains disabled until all errors are resolved. Edits made to the stress echo images are maintained within syngo Dynamics, after pressing the Refresh icon. When exporting images, the images are sent with the original stages and views that were sent from the modality. Please also note that the stacking of stress images is not recognized in the syngo Dynamics WebViewer. ? Stress Echo Edit Collaboration Mode When working in collaboration mode it is important to note that only the Primary user can modify the stress echo images. When the Primary user edits a stress echo and either closes the study or if a Secondary user Takes Control, a message is displayed to prompt the user to Refresh Now to accept the changes or to wait and Refresh Later. If Refresh Later is selected, edits are restricted. Edits are only possible after a refresh. The Refresh icon on the Layout Menu stays active until this is done.
