
Symbia Pro.specta™ Routine Workflow
This video provides an overview on how to complete a basic SPECT scan.
Welcome to the Symbia prosector routine workflow video. In this video we will walk through a basic spec scan. Select the patient from the scheduler. Then click exam. Click the norm basic folder to open the list of protocols. For this example, the SPECT protocol will be selected. Select the protocol and click add. Click the green Oklahoma button to alley the protocol. Verify the patient position and click the green confirm button. Verify that the parameters are correct and add the dose by clicking the dose step in the protocol. Click go to load the scan and click move for the system to move to the start position. Once the system movement is complete, click the green start button to begin the scan. The timeline switches to a progress bar to show the time remaining. Once the scan time completes, the protocol will progress to the quality check step. From here, the projection movie as well as the sinogram and line ogram can be reviewed for any motion. If there is motion, the repeat button can be clicked to repeat the scan. If everything looks good, click the green go button to accept the scan. Click next to progress to the Reconstruction tab to complete any reconstructions, and then next to view the job status. Open an in progress reconstructions can be seen here. Click the green close button to close the patient. If set up in the protocol, the patient will automatically open in my view and go. Any postprocessing or archiving can be done from here.
