Breast Biopsy Various Positions & Approaches Womens Health There are various positions (upright, recumbent) that can be utilized for stereotactic and tomo bi- opsy depending on the location of the Area of Concern (AOC). In addition to the varied positions, there are varied approaches (CC - craniocaudal, MLO – mediolateral oblique, ML - mediolateral, LM – lateromedial, and Vertical or Horizontal).
