It is solely available for the SOMATOM go.Sim and SOMATOM go.Open Pro scanner. It is intended for patient and accessory setup documentation to ease imaging and RT treatment workflows. Start a regular mobile workflow on your tablet. Select Examination to start. Please select Examination to continue. Select your patient Select John Doe to continue. Please note: The ID photo step only appears automatically if configured accordingly. To take an ID photo, select the camera button on the bottom right of the tablet screen. Take an ID Photo of Your Patient - 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_04.mp3] Once you’ve taken the photo, it’ll appear in a popover on the tablet screen. If you’re satisfied with the photo, confirm it by selecting the checkmark icon on the bottom right of the popover. Please select the Checkmark icon to continue. Take an ID photo Select GO to continue. Take an ID Photo of Your Patient - 3 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_05.mp3] Afterwards, the software adds the confirmed ID photo to the patient details. Select GO to continue in the workflow. Please select GO to continue. Select your scan protocol Select the neck and shoulder body region to continue. Select Your Scan Protocol [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_06.mp3] As your next step, select the desired scan protocol from the Protocol Selection. First, select the desired body region on the schematic body map. For our example, select the neck and shoulder body region. Please select the neck and shoulder body region to continue. Select your scan protocol Select GO to continue. Select Your Scan Protocol - 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_07.mp3] The available RTP Head and Neck scan protocol appears in the right column and automatically gets selected. Then select GO to continue. Please select GO to continue. Set up your patient Proceed with the scan Select GO to continue. Set up Your Patient [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_08.mp3] Set up your patient next. Apply accessories as necessary and position the patient correctly. Then select GO to proceed to the Topogram scan. Please select GO to continue. Proceed with the scan Select GO to continue. Activate the Topogram Scan [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_09.mp3] The Ready to load Topogram screen appears. Select GO to activate the topogram scan. Mark your patient Mark Your Patient [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_11.mp3] After acquiring the topogram, performing the tomogram scan and reconstructing the images, it’s time for you to mark your patient. In addition, make sure you select the New Isocenter entry on the Patient Marking popover. Mark your patient Select the GO button to continue. Open the Patient Setup popover Select the Patient Setup icon to continue. Depending on your configuration, the Patient Setup popover may be displayed in CT Scan&GO before the topogram, after the reconstruction, or it’s not displayed automatically. In our example, the Patient Setup popover isn’t displayed automatically. To display it, select the Patient Setup icon in the upper right corner. Please select the Patient Setup icon to continue. Open the Patient Setup popover Open the Patient Setup popover 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_14.mp3] The Patient Setup popover appears. Three tabs are selectable on this popover: The Patient ID tab, the anatomic area tab - Head Neck here based on the scan protocol you selected previously - and the Report tab. Open the Patient Setup popover Select the Head Neck tab to continue. Patient ID Tab [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_15.mp3] The Patient ID tab displays information on the patient, such as patient name, date of birth, sex and age in addition to the actual patient ID. It also displays the patient photo you took previously. Select the Head Neck tab to continue. Please select the Head Neck tab to continue. Open the Patient Setup popover Anatomic Area Tab [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_16.mp3] The Anatomic Area tab displays the accessories, attributes, and measurements of the selected template. In our example, the selected template is Head Neck. Open the Patient Setup popover Select the Size drop-down of the Knee Rest to continue. Anatomic Area Tab 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_17.mp3] This area displays the available accessories as configured in the positioning accessory configuration. When you select an accessory, its attributes appear on the right side of the popover. As an example, we’ll modify the attributes of the knee rest here. Select the Size drop-down of the knee rest to continue. Please select the Size drop-down of the Knee Rest to continue. Open the Patient Setup popover Select the size Medium to continue. Anatomic Area Tab 3 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_18.mp3] Select the size Medium of the knee rest to continue. Please select the size Medium to continue. Open the Patient Setup popover Select Patient Setup Photos to continue. Anatomic Area Tab 4 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_19.mp3] The next documentation step for you is to take Patient Setup photos now. Select Patient Setup Photos to continue. Please select Patient Setup Photos to continue. Capture the Patient Setup photos Select the Camera icon to continue. Capture Patient Setup Photos [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_20.mp3] The camera icon appears. Select it to capture the Patient Setup photos. Please select the Camera icon to continue. Capture the Patient Setup photos Select the Checkmark icon to continue. Capture Patient Setup Photos 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_21.mp3] For every photo you’ve taken, select the checkmark icon to confirm and save it. Please select the Checkmark icon to continue. Capture the Patient Setup photos Select the Checkmark icon to continue. Capture Patient Setup Photos 3 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_22.mp3] To confirm and save a photo with the full view on the patient setup, select the checkmark icon again. Please select the Checkmark icon to continue. Document all setup observations directly Capture the Patient Setup photos Select Comments to continue. Capture Patient Setup Photos 4 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_23.mp3] The photos taken appear in an overview on the Patient Setup popover. The last item on the anatomic area tab is Comments. When you select Comments, you can write down and document all setup observations directly in the Comments field. Select Comments to continue. Please select Comments to continue. Document all setup observations directly Document Patient Setup Observations [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_24.mp3] The onscreen keyboard appears on which you can type in all patient setup observations. Enable reports to be sent after closing the patient Select this button to enable it. Enable Display of Reports [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_25.mp3] Before we go over to the Report tab, first some background information about reports. The system creates reports automatically. To enable the report to be sent after you have closed the patient, you need to do the following: Enable the button Confirm entries for all templates and send report upon closing patient on the bottom of the anatomic area tab. Select the button to enable it. Please select the highlighted button to continue. Enable display of reports Select the Report tab to continue. Enable Display of Reports 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_26.mp3] You have enabled the report to be displayed. Select the Report tab to continue. Review the Patient Setup Report Report Tab [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_27.mp3] The Report tab provides a preview of the Patient Setup Report that the system generates from the input data on the Patient ID tab and the Anatomic Area tab. Depending on your configuration, the system creates one report for all anatomic areas, or separate reports for each anatomic area. You can review the Patient Setup Report here if needed. Patient Setup Report available on your OIS1 1 Available only in combination with ARIA 15.5 MR2 or higher (including ARIA Documents Workspace and FHIR4ARIA 4.2 or higher) System Sends Report to the OIS [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_28.mp3] Once you have closed your patient on the tablet, the system will send the Patient Setup Report to your OIS. Please note: This is the case only if you have enabled the button Confirm entries for all templates and send report upon closing patient as shown before. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report Select the x to continue. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_29.mp3] As we’re getting closer to the end of this simulation, we’d like to show you another way to check and review Patient Setup Reports you created. To do so, select the x to close the Patient Setup popover. Please select the x to continue. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report Select the Home icon to continue. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report 2 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_30.mp3] Now select the Home icon to return to the homescreen. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report 4 [Storyboard_SOM_go_Sim_Open_Pro_Pat_Setup_Docum_Sim_02_32.mp3] The Open Patient Setup Reports screen appears. It displays three different status possibilities a Patient Setup Report can have: Not Confirmed indicates a report you didn’t confirm when you closed the patient. You need to confirm the report first before you can send it to the specified destinations, see previous content in this simulation. Transfer Failed means a report you couldn’t send due to a technical issue. Selecting the Send All Confirmed button sends the report again. And Confirmed indicates a report that was in status Not Confirmed but that you have since confirmed. Selecting the Send All Confirmed button sends the report to the specified destinations. When you select the Patient Setup icon, the Patient Setup popover of the selected report opens. On the popover, you can confirm the entries before sending the report, see previous content in this simulation. The Delete icon opens a dialog box with a Delete button and a Cancel button. Tapping the Delete button there deletes the selected report. And selecting the Send All Confirmed button sends all reports in status Confirmed and Transfer Failed to the specified destinations. Please note: The system stores the reports for 14 days and automatically deletes them after 14 days. Another Way to Review the Patient Setup Report Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation. Click Retry to try the simulation again. To go back to the simulation overview, click Overview.
