Reconstruction training for summer is 10. Inline results parallel and radial ranges. With the introduction of Samaris 10 and Recon in goal. In line results was added to the workflows from the operators console. Inline results is an automatic reconstruction method that combines reconstructions with postprocessing techniques and are done automatically with zero clicks from the operator. In line results, uses the powerful landmark detection technology called alpha. Which stands for automatic landmark parsing of human anatomy. Inline results can be found in the Recon parameter categories, Recon and go and inline options at the single acquisition workplace. Inline results has many features and options available for use. There are four main categories, and each category has multiple options available. The main 4 categories we will discuss are. Parallel ranges. Radial ranges. Applications. And multi energy. The first of these categories is parallel ranges. Parallel ranges allows you to configure results, series of dedicated anatomical regions and Recon types in a parallel range. And includes the options for. Parallel ranges. Parallel vascular ranges. Parallel rib ranges. And spine ranges. Alpha technology is used for landmark detection in all of these reconstructions. The parallel ranges option does. Reconstructions that allow you to configure a result series of parallel orientation but for dedicated anatomical regions. The organ specific recons are available for the following regions. Head, neck, thorax cardiac shoulder, abdomen, pelvis. Lower extremity and whole body. For an example, the image on the left you can see a multi orientation with inline results. Parallel ranges for cardiac. The scanner automatically reconstructed three complete series in the short axis, long axis and four chamber cardiac views. Again, these were done automatically with zero clicks from the operator because of the alpha technology. The next parallel range is parallel vascular range. This is a result series with vessel detection and parallel cross sections through the vessel. You can see an 8 order reconstruction in the example shown in the video. The vessels that can be reconstructed include the aorta. Carotid artery, left or right. Run off left or right. And all cardiac coronary vessels. The scanner automatically detects the vessel and inserts a centerline. And the reconstructions can be made in an NPR or a myth image. Next we have parallel rib ranges. This option provides a result series with rib detection and parallel ranges that provide an unfolded view of the rib cage. As you can see in the example, the series will automatically detect each rib and insert a centerline. These will then be labeled and unfolded for an easy to view series of the rib cage. The parallel rib range will provide parallel images that travel through the ribs from anterior to posterior. The user can select the distance the series should travel. The last option under parallel ranges is spine ranges. This will provide a result series with automatic spine detection. Shown in the example, the spine is labeled and the view is straightened. These ranges can be reconstructed in a sagittal, koronel, or axial plane. With the axial plane being a paraxial with a view always perpendicular to the vertebrae and the spinal cord. The next category is radial ranges. Radial ranges allows you to configure results, series of dedicated anatomical regions and Recon types in a radial range. And includes the options for. Radial ranges. Radial vascular ranges. And radial rib ranges. Again, alpha technology is used for landmark detection in all of these reconstructions. First of these options are radial ranges. This will provide a radial or spinning range of specific organs such as cardiac as seen in the example. Thorax, aorta, or the hip, are also available for specific organ ranges. If a specific organ is not needed, you may also select the entire skin range as well. The reconstructed range can be done as a NPR nip or three DVRT image in many different orientations. If the outcome is for a 3D image, the user has the possibility to remove the table, have the bones removed, such As for angio study, and also select which VRT preset is to be used. The next radial range is vascular ranges. This range provides a result series with vessel detection and radial view on the unfolded vessel. As you can see in the example, the aorta is shown spinning around the center line showing all projections of the vessel. The vessel options that can be detected include the aorta, carotid, arteries, left or right, run off arteries left or right, and all cardiac coronary arteries. The scanner automatically detects the vessel and inserts a centerline. And the reconstructions can be made in an NPR or a myth image. The last radial range is radial rib range. The range provides a result series with rib detection and radial ranges that provide an unfolded view of the rib cage. As you can see in the example, the series will automatically detect each rib and insert a centerline. These will then be labeled and unfolded for an easy to view series of the rib cage. The radial rib range will provide images that spin the ribs along their axis. To fully visualize the ribs from all orientations. The user can also select the angle degree steps for the rotation.
