SmartSimulator – Important information YSIO X.pree VA10F – Radiography Systems General information With the SmartSimulator YSIO X.pree VA10F, you are be able to experience a virtual training environment. The products are simulated on virtual machines on the cloud. There is no limitation on the number of virtual machines that can be used for training. SmartSimulator enables trainees to connect to the simulated product from their personal computers using the Internet. Trainings need to be scheduled in advance in SmartSimulator. The system is flexible and can accommodate changes in the training schedule. SmartSimulator trainings can be offered on your premises, or in the Siemens Healthineers training centers as trainer sessions or workshops. However, please note that SmartSimulator is not an actual system, and therefore, it comes with some limitations. • Since no RIS is configured, only manual or emergency registration is possible. To simulate an RIS list, manual entries of patients can be done and saved. • No virtual functions are available on the simulator (for example, virtual collimation). • The monitor on the actual system is a touch sensitive monitor. However, on the simulator, you have to operate the monitor with a mouse. o Pan: Middle of the monitor o Zoom: On the outside of the image o Rotation is only available via the toolbar. In postprocessing, you rotate the image with a right mouse click. • Please note that using StartRAD might not result in the correct clinical image, as there is not an image for every clinical protocol step available. They are missing at this stage. However, these functions can be used for training purposes. • Changing the exposure parameters will not affect the image impression of the image displayed. • The image flavor settings cannot be used at the moment. Changing the flavor in Image visualization has no effect on the image impression. • Do not use ortho examinations at this stage of the simulator. • An internal archive node is set specially to check the behavior. Once the transfer is completed, the sending job will fail, and both white and red icons will be displayed during the process. 11:12 AM V 11:14 AM 7/15/2022 7/15/2022 • Do not use Remote assistance (SRS). You can click the button, but it will bring up the error: Unknown error occurred while establishing connection [...] • You can configure the touch user interface (TUI) display color scheme. However, since you are on a simulator, you will not be able to check changes on the hardware (same for the barcode reader). • In examination, the system hardware configuration parameters cannot be changed. They are preset for the different clinical protocol steps. The collimation displayed on the system does not necessarily match with the collimation of the image acquired.
