Select&GO | Register the patient and start the exam XA70A

In this video, you will learn how to register a patient and start the exam with the Select and Go display. From XA70A upwards. You can operate the system and patient table using the control units located on the magnet cover. The control unit consists of a Select and Go touch display and a jog wheel from the XA70A software and higher. These new functions are available. Patient registration, ISO positioning, starting the examination. You will learn more about these individual components during the training show and edit registered patient data. Automatic table positioning by body regions, position and target info. Guidance on the different body parts. Connected coils. Exam start button. You can gain access to the pre registered patient data from the radiology information system or the single acquisition workplace. You can edit and save scheduled patient data here. Edit the demographics, for example the height and weight of the patient as needed. You can also edit the patient orientation like head first to feed First apply and save the settings. Please note that other settings and patient information are read only and can only be changed in the single acquisition workplace or in the risks. Open the patient data by pressing Register Patient for the next scan. Confirm the correctness of the data entered using the Exam button. The patient information is displayed in the screen header. The position of the body region buttons on the patient is determined by the connected coils. You can find some guidance on patient preparation for different examinations by pressing on the info symbol. For example, you can position the registered patient step by step with the plugged head neck coil. Select the required body region, in our case the head for automatic ISO positioning. Press the jog wheel for at least one second to automatically move the table into the ISO center. After successful ISO positioning, the Start button is activated.
