Welcome to the Sea Arctic Move Retina 3D workflow video. In this video, you will learn how to perform image acquisition with a Retina 3D feature of the Sea Arctic Move system. As a prerequisite for a 3D scan, you have to register a patient. A floral image should be done to check if the C arm has been positioned correctly in relation to the patient and if the volume of interest is in the ISA center. Set the C arm to 0° position angular and 0° position orbital or an adequate AP position to be able to see the volume of interest. Perform the horizontal and vertical adjustment with the detector laser light localizer and the horizontal laser light localizer. Press the Laser Light localizers button on the keypad of the detector housing to turn the laser lights on. The crosshairs allow the adjustment of the system position without releasing radiation. Select 3D Scan on the control panel. Please note that you can select the 3D Scan button only after registering a patient. In the 3D Patient Scan dialogue. You can adjust the examination settings under Configure Scan. Move the slider to change the scan quality if necessary. Please note, if you work with the Navi Link 3D option, you can select the correct navigation unit here. When you have configured the 3D scan, press the Patient System Relation button on the workflow bar. Select the correct patient orientation depending on the patient's position on the table in the operating room. For example, supine when the patient is lying on his or her back for an examination of his or her spine, set the C arm position in relation to the patient by selecting one of the respective icons. For example, select this icon if the C arm is positioned on the right side of the patient. When the patient position in relation to the device has been defined, you can perform the collision check. This check has to be performed prior to a 3D scan to ensure no items are in the scan path. Press the Collision Check button on the workflow bar to open the collision check page. Move the C arm to the Collision check start position, which corresponds to the system end position of the actual 3D scan. When the C arm has reached the collision check start position for a full scan, this position is automatically accepted as the end position of the 3D scan and will be indicated by a check mark. Move the C arm to the collision check end position, which corresponds to the start position of the 3D scan. Please stay next to the patient during the collision check and keep the movement button pressed. Stop the collision check if the patient or any medical devices are in the scan path. After the successful collision check, the system is ready for the 3D scan and the scan page opens automatically. It is necessary to start the 3D scan within 180 seconds after the collision check. The remaining time is displayed on the scan page. Start the 3D scan by pressing the radiation release pedal on the foot switch or the radiation release button on the hand control. The current assignment configuration of the foot switch pedal is displayed in the control area of the monitor and on the control panel during your radiation. The radiation display on top of the monitor trolley lights up. Keep the radiation switch pressed until the scan progress bar on the control panel disappears and the reconstruction in progress window opens. When the reconstruction has been completed, the images will be displayed on the monitor. The 3D patient scan dialogue will be closed and the 3D image processing mode will be activated on the control panel.
