Replacing the Air Filters Dimension® EXL™ 200 and Dimension® EXL™ with LM Integrated Chemistry Systems As part of monthly maintenance, replace the air filters below to ensure that air circulating in the analyzer is free of dust and debris. Ensure the analyzer is in Standby mode before replacing air filters. Record completion of this procedure. Refer to “Using the Instrument Log Screens” in the Dimension® EXL™ 200 and Dimension® EXL™ with LM Operator Guide. Note: All filters can be reused except the Thermal Chamber Filter, which must be replaced. Remove all dust from used filters by washing with water and air drying A. Cabinet/Cuvette Ring Filter-for analyzers with a Reagent Management System (RMS) B. Cabinet Filter-for analyzers without an RMS only C. Cuvette Ring Filter-for analyzers without an RMS only D. Power Supply Filter E. Thermal Chamber Filter A. Cabinet/Cuvettte Ring Filter (with RMS)-located on the back of the analyzer 1. Slide the filter up and out of its holder 2. Power Supply Filter- located below the card cage 1. Open the left analyzer door and locate the filter to the left of the analyzer power switch, below the card cage 2. Loosen the thumbscrew above the filter 3. Remove the holding bracket 4. Pull the filter out of its holder 5.
