Reconstruction training for Samaris 10 software covering the inline results applications category. With the introduction of Samaris 10 and Recon and Go, inline Results was added to the workflows from the operator's console. Inline results is an automatic reconstruction method that combines reconstructions with post processing techniques and are done automatically with 0 clicks from the operator. Inline results uses the powerful landmark detection technology called Alpha, which stands for Automatic landmark Parsing of Human Anatomy. Inline results can be found in the Recon parameter categories Recon and Go in Inline options at the Singo acquisition. Workplace Inline Results has many features and options available for use. There are 4 main categories and each category has multiple options available. The main 4 categories we will discuss are Parallel Ranges, Radial Ranges, Applications and Multi Energy. The next category in inline results is the Applications category. These are applications that can produce fully automated result series for their respective use case and include the applications of Brain hemorrhage, Lung CAD aspect score, skull unfolding, CT calcium scoring, and rapid results technology neuroprofusion. The first of these applications is brain hemorrhage. Brain hemorrhage is an automatic bleeding detection algorithm for notifying potential acute intracranial bleedings. You can view the results in the reconstruction task or in CT view and go. This application produces no diagnostic images. It is used as a fast reading tool to notify the user quickly if the algorithm suspected a bleed in the brain. The images look like the examples on the left and show if the scan had no suspected bleeding or if there was a bleeding detected in the scan. You can now triage the result for a particular type of hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorhage. The result is displayed on the triage slice. An extension of brain hemorrhage is brain hyperdensity, which you can purchase through a license. The result will contain segmentation contours for regions detected by brain hemorrhage. As a result, hyperdensities are quantified and displayed together with the segmentation contours. The next application is Lung CAD. Lung CAD provides a result series that includes all Lung CAD findings. The findings are read only and cannot be edited. The series contains a thin sliced data set. All findings are marked with a circle on the image. You can use this application as a first reader to assist the physician on locating suspected nodules. There are two modes available for the findings. Either show solid nodules only. This mode will locate only solid nodules. It place a circle around the nodule to indicate the position or show solid and sub solid nodules. This mode will locate solid nodules and ground glass opacities. It places a circle around the finding to indicate the position. Aspect score reconstructions allow you to configure result series with a calculated aspect score. Aspect Score reconstruction are available for native neurological scans. The Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score Aspects is a grading system for the detection of early ischemic changes on non contrast CT scans of the brain. It provides a score from zero most severe to 10 least severe. The Aspect score result is the calculated score including an overview on the 10 regions evaluated as per hemisphere. Now you can edit aspect score results on Syngovia and an M Reading Skull. Unfolding reconstructions provide an advanced visualization technique intended to facilitate visualizing calvarial skull fractures or thin intracranial bleedings located below the skull cap. 2 modes for the unfolding are available fractures. Use this entry to visualize calvarial skull fractures. It requires A kernel value greater than HR48 hematomas. Use this entry to visualize thin intracranial bleedings located below the skullcap. It requires A kernel value equal to or less than HR 48. The next application is CT calcium scoring. This application provides a result series with included calcium scoring results that are done automatically by the scanner. Each coronary vessel is scored and evaluated using a non contrast cardiac data set. It uses a reference database to compare the score of the patient with a reference group of the same age. The reference database is also used to calculate the coronary age. 2 results series are created, first a calcium scored volume which is a series that contains all images with the scored lesions of the patient and 2nd the calcium scoring results. They include a percentile chart displaying a graph of the patient's score compared to a graph of the defined reference group. It also displays A scoring table with the number of scored lesions in each artery and the corresponding calcium scores. The last application is Rapid Results Technology in neuroperfusion. Rapid Results Technology Neuroperfusion is known for a long time now. You can calculate the results right at the scanner. All options for scanning and Recon remain. A default calculation protocol is used. You can get the result fast as easy as a Recon.
