RAPIDPoint® 500e System Software Upgrade via teamplay Fleet®

This is an instructional video about how to upgrade the rapid .500 E system software to the latest version via Team Play fleet. Refer to the release notes document in the Siemens document Library for software details including the expected time required for this installation. To perform this upgrade successfully you will need a team Play Fleet account, a computer connected to the Internet, a camera equipped mobile device connected to the Internet, the teamplay fleet app installed on the same mobile device. A virus free USB drive 4 gigabytes are larger level 1 access on the rapid .500 E system. Caution, installing a new version of the software deletes all patient QC and calibration. Get it from the system. If necessary. Refer to your operator's manual to save patient QC and calibration data before proceeding. Step one log into teamplay fleet on your computer to download and copy the software upgrade. Insert a virus free USB drive into your computer. On your computer, log into teamplay fleet using the link fleet.siemens-healthineers.com/welcome. Once logged in, you can either click the bell at the top right of the screen to access alerts, one of which is for the software upgrade for the rapid .5. 100 system or access the update directly by clicking system update. In system update, click rapid .500 E update. It will include the software version number. Then click download to download the zipped folder. If prompted, select a temporary location on your computer to save the zipped folder. Otherwise, the zipped folder is automatically saved to your downloads folder. Navigate to where the downloaded folder is saved and unzip it. Locate the file called install 500 E .7 Z. Copy this file only to the USB drive. Remove the USB drive once the copy is completed. Now you are ready to install the upgrade on your rapid .500 E system. Step 2. Install the software upgrade on the rapid .500 E system from the USB drive. Installing a new version of the software removes all patient QC and calibration data from the system. If the USB ports are off when the level one operator attempts to install the software, they will be prompted for confirmation that they want to temporarily enable power to the USB port. When the installation is complete, the USB ports will automatically power off. On the home screen, click the set button, select secured options, select the down arrow button and then software installation. When prompted, select yes to begin the installation. Enter the password or operator ID and password. If prompted, select USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive. The software installation begins. When the installation is complete, the system will restart. Step 3. Scan the generated QR code using the team Play Fleet app on your mobile device. On the rapid .500 E systems home screen, click the setup button, then select secured options. Select the down arrow button and then confirm software installation. This screen will appear. Note the QR code and the confirmation code box. Scan the QR code using the mobile devices camera. After you scan the QR code, you will automatically be directed to the Teamplay fleet website. Log in to your team play fleet. Count team play fleet generates A6 digit installation status code, also referred to as a confirmation code. Use the keypad on the rapid .500 E system to enter the six digit status code. In the confirmation code box, press the continue button. The software installation is now complete. Note if you do not complete step three, you will see this message every day at noon along with a QR code icon in the banner. Complete step three to stop the alerts.
