Query and Retrieve from DICOM (VEXX)

This job ad will demonstrate how to query and retrieve procedure data and patient data from the Patient Scheduler or Browser on VExx application software.

Query and Retrieve (VEXX) job aid Angiography – Application software VExx* *There is an additional job aid available on PEPconnect to determine the software version of the system. You can retrieve procedure data and patient data from the Patient Scheduler or Browser. You can use this information for pre-procedure planning, overlay/fusion, and/or review. Retrieving prior studies from Scheduler: Prerequistes: Pre-fetch nodes are configured and data is DICOM-compliant. 1. Open up the Scheduler. 2. In Patient List, select the patient or procedure for which you want to search. 3. If the scheduler already detected available prior studies, click Prior Studies icon in the list item. 2017.09.29-00:19:19-STD-Trauma 11/18/1858 2017.09.29-00:19:19 -... 10/18/2017, 01:51 or – – Click Prior studies at the bottom of Patient Registration screen. 4. Prior Studies dialog box opens with predefined search criteria. 5. Click Source Selection to select the source from which you want to retrieve studies. 6. You may modify search criteria by clicking Search Filters to specify the search criteria. 7. Click Search icon and the results will list. 8. Select Study and click the Retrieve icon to retrieve study. +] 9. Once retrieving process is finished, the study is available in the results list of the Patient Browser. Note: You can check status under Job View > Network in Options from Info Area. ? Open up the Browser. 2. On the toolbar, click DICOM Q/R icon to open the DICOM Query/Retrieve dialog box or – – To search for related studies of the selected patient, right-click a patient or study and choose Search Patient with DICOM Q/R from context menu. 3. DICOM Query/Retrieve dialog box opens. 4. Click Source Selection to select the source where you want to search for studies. 5. Click Search Filters to specify the search criteria. 6. Click the Search icon and results will list. 7. Select Study and click the Retrieve icon to retrieve study. 8. Once retrieving process is finished, the study is available in the Results list of the Patient Browser.
