The aesthetics of the system have been updated to provide a new, modern look. To provide differentiation between systems, the image quality will be the same as the ACUSON Juniper ultrasound system 2.0 software release. The operating system is the same as the ACUSON Juniper 2.5, therefore the workflow of the system will be the same. In support of indirect sales, there is a new well-organized education platform on PEPconnect that is accessible to salespeople and customers for a complete set of training materials. The ACUSON Maple system has multiple parts that have been reused and other modifications to the system and transducers to provide a lower cost solution.
