SIEMENS Healthineers SIEMENS Healthineers ... ACUSON Maple Ultrasound System eSieScan workflow protocols Software Release 1.0 1 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthineers 2023 Speaker Notes: The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of configuration and use of eSieScan workflow protocols on the ACUSON Maple ultrasound system. Please Note: This presentation will use protocols to refer to the eSieScan workflow protocols displayed as eSieScan on the ultrasound system. Notes No. 1 SIEMENS Healthineers Objectives SIEMENS . Healthineers ... • Define and summarize benefits of protocols • Create and modify a protocol • Use protocols === Note: Protocols is displayed as eSieScan on the ultrasound system 2 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthineers 2023 Speaker Notes: Here are the objectives for this presentation. We will start with defining and summarizing the benefits of protocols. Notes No. 2 SIEMENS Healthineers What is a protocol? SIEMENS. Healthineers ... Automated major imaging mode changes Guided and automated Automated text and body marker labeling clinical workflow, based on a predefined checklist Automated measurements 3 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthineers 2023 Speaker Notes: A protocol is a pre-defined checklist that guides you through the clinical workflow. This pre-defined checklist includes automated imaging mode changes, automated text and body markers, as well as automated measurements. Notes No. 3 SIEMENS Healthineers Why use protocols? SIEMENS . With no factory protocol highlighted, select Add Protocol to begin creation of the new, uncopied protocol. A new “UserProtocol_1” will be added to the list of existing protocols on the left. To change the name of the new protocol to something more identifiable, use the pointer to highlight the contents of the Protocol Name field and type in the new name. For example, “abdomen”. Prior to adding new views to the protocol, the user must select the progression type, then select Automatic to end when all views are completed. The behavior of the protocol has to be defined at the end of the exam. The choices are: • Remain in Acquisition • Enter Review • Enter Report Use the pointer to select the desired option.
