POCcelerator™ Web Manage Operator Certifications Video

To manage Operator certifications, we must begin by navigating to Operator, then Certifications monitor. From the Operator Certifications monitor, we will use the actions drop down to manage Operator certifications. Here you have the option to record a classroom training, which allows you to record when operators have completed a classroom training. Record. When a trainer has observed an operator perform a maintenance task or patient test on a device model as part of a competency evaluation, manually recertify or extend operator certifications, or revoke operator certifications. Additionally, the filters at the top of the screen can be utilized to look for specific operators, or the Device Model column filter can be used to display only operators assigned to a specific device model. Let's begin by taking a closer look at recording a maintenance competency. Start by selecting the operator or operators whose competency is to be recorded in this example. Let's practice selecting multiple operators to perform an action on multiple operators. The selected operators must be assigned to the same device model except revoking or extending certifications, which can be done for any operator regardless of device model assignment. The view operators by Device model select the filter icon in the Device Model column. Then select a device model and select OK Now select the check boxes next to the operators whose competency is to be recorded. Then select Actions and Record Maintenance Competency from the Record Maintenance Competency window. Select a trainer from the drop down list if required and use the calendar icon to enter a training date. Then select Save. The maintenance date is now recorded in the Operators rows. Now let's focus on recertifying operators again. Select a checkbox next to the operator we want to recertify and then select the Actions drop down. Select recertify operators from the Recertify Operators window. Enter a required comment and the number of months to extend the certification. Then select Save. Finally, let's review how to extend operator certifications. After selecting the desired operators, select Actions and Extend Certification. Enter a required comment and then enter the number of days to extend the certification records or select the calendar icon to extend the certification records to a specific date. Then select Save.
