PET Rest and Stress Cardiac Postprocessing Job Aid

Due to susceptibility to motion in the thorax and heart, PET data needs to be aligned over the MRAC UMAP image. This job aid provides steps to assist with this process.

PET Rest/Stress Cardiac Postprocessing Biograph mMR VE11P Feb 2022 Due to susceptibility to motion in the thorax and heart, PET data needs to be aligned over the MRAC UMAP image (MRAC UMAP with PET NAC image from inline reconstruction). 1. From the browser, select MRAC Dixon UMAP and load in the 3D MPR card. 2. Choose the corresponding NAC data and select the 3D Fusion icon. 3. Place the crosshairs over the left ventricle. a. On the Axial, Cor, and Sag planes, find an image where you can see the heart in a horseshoe shape. b. Check all 3 planes after changing the registration for accuracy. Cor Tra 4. Within the 3D task card, select the Image tab. 5. Select Registration to move the PET data. You will be able to left click and drag as necessary. 6. Align the heart and lungs. 7. Select OK on the Fusion Registration pop-up window. Under Applications, select the Retro Recon task card and drag the raw data into the queue. 3D Presets RetroRecon 10. Select the Preset tab on the right side of the screen to verify the correct raw data. 11. Select the correct names. 12. Start from the bottom up, first do AC Static then Gated (ensure to change the lines on the Histogram accordingly for every heart Rest/Stress), then MBF.
