Performing a Stand Test (VEXX) Angiography – Application Software VExx* *Click the link below to review how to identify your system(s) software version. How to Find System Software Version The system requests a brake test regularly in a configurable time interval. (Default: 25 days) • The brake test must be performed in the Parking Position. • The brake test must be performed with no patient on the table and no additional loads. • If no brake test has been performed in the configured time interval, the message “Stand test necessary within # days” will appear • After the time has expired, the stand speed will be reduced. The message “Reduced stand/table speed – Perform stand test” will appear. 1. Tap C-Arm Position > System Positions or System Position from Direct Access Bar 2. Select Parking Position or Parking/Self Test 3. Press the stand/C-Arm joystick down and deflect it away from you, and hold it until the Parking Position is reached. a. The message “Stand Test: Deflect joystick to perform stand test # s” is displayed. b. # is the delay time: i. ARTIS pheno, it is configurable by Customer Service in the range of 1 to 60s ii. ARTIS icono floor, ARTIS icono biplane, and ARTIS ceiling, it is 15s 4. Press the stand/C-arm joystick down and deflect it away from you and hold it. a. The brake test is started and the message “Stand Test: running…” is displayed b. The system performs the brake test for each axle (6 times). 5. Once the test is completed, a message will be displayed: a. “Stand Test: Successfully completed” = Normal movements are possible again. b. “No system movement: Stand test failed, SC” = All movement of the stand are blocked; Table movements are still possible, in this case, call Siemens Healthineers Customer Service.
