Patient positioning with mobile workflow and FAST 3D camera video (VA30)

Open the scheduler by clicking on the icon. Select the patient you want to scan by tapping on it. In the next step, plan the exam by first selecting the body region and then choosing the protocol. Please note that the additional information may be found in the protocol description. Position the patient on the table according to the protocol requirements. Please use positional aids as necessary to ensure patient comfort. Tap the Go button to continue. If configured, the tablet will now show my exam compass. You can now answer the supplied questions to tailor the exam to your patient. Please note that some patient characteristics such as gender, are automatically acquired by the system. In addition, the interface allows you to practice the breath hold with the patient to start the practice, press the play button. To continue, press the go button. This screen shows the patient position. Please check that the patient is lying correctly on the table. If necessary, please adjust the patient's position or adjust the patient model on the screen accordingly to match the patient. Continue by pressing the go button. In this next step, the 3D camera will detect the patient and set the to crime range according to the protocol. As long as the patient is moving, the system will prompt motion detected. Once the patient ceases to move, the system will prompt stable position. And the scan range will be adjusted to the new situation. If the patient is constantly moving, you can disable the live view by clicking the Live View button. This will create a snapshot of the patient which is used for scan range setting. You can switch on live image again by clicking the button. Once the system has set a scan range, please check if this is sufficient. If necessary, adjust the scan range by dragging the borders to the appropriate position. Please note that adjusting the border will also switch off the live image. In case more detail is required, the image can be zoomed and panned. Once a stable position is reached, the move button will start to flash. If you are satisfied with the scan range, you could move the patient to the starting position by pressing the move button. Perform the scan as usual. Press the unload button to move the table to the unload position.
