The Customer Service Engineer (CSE) can download the patch from the intranet and then visit the customers site to install the patch rather than wait for it to be shipped. The Service Partition is a dedicated partition for storing recovery images. If a software issue arises, the customer may contact the Customer Care Center and the system can be up and running in approximately 30 min. The Short software reload time is if a software reload is needed, the installation time is approximately 20 minutes. The software is shipped with the system and the customer can work with their service engineer to reload it remotely. The Service problem report tool is the ability for the customer to save error logs to report incidents. The customer may simply press Ctrl + L and a pop-up window will appear where the customer may fill in details for the Software, Hardware or Network. Once the transducer is placed on the skin and tissue is recognized, the power automatically adjusts to normal scanning. This feature is not enabled when the system ships from the factory. This slide demonstrates the Probe Saver feature. Notice, the first image on the left, illustrates active scanning. The middle image illustrates no scanning mode and the third image illustrates the decreased transducer power. This is especially useful for the ICE transducer or during interventional procures where the transducer is left idle for some time.
