The syngo Osteo CT evaluation is a software program that quantifies the bone mineral density of vertebral bone based on appropriate CT images. The CT scans are performed in a standardized method; the patient and a reference phantom are scanned simultaneously.

How to Use Osteo for Bone Density Post Measurement CT Somaris 7 The syngo Osteo CT evaluation is a software program that quantifies the bone mineral density of vertebral bone based on appropriate CT images. The CT scans are performed in a standardized method; the patient and a reference phantom are scanned simultaneously. 1. Load original images from the patient browser. 2. Click the Start Evaluation button to start the evaluation. Start Evaluation 3. The CT Osteo - Patient Data dialog box will display if you start evaluating images of a pa- tient whose age or gender is missing. Both values are required for OsteoCT evaluation. Skip Image 6. Correct Phantom ROIs if needed by clicking on one of the two circles in the reference phantom. Move to the correct position keeping the left mouse button pressed. The second circle will follow automatically. 7. Correct contour lines. (A) Anterior most point of the cortical spinal body (L) Base point of the anatomical left-hand side (C) Center of the spinal canal (T) Posterior most of the cortical spinal body (R) Base point of the anatomical right-hand side Click the base point with the mouse. Move the base point, keeping the left mouse button pressed.
