Notes No. 3 SIEMENS Healthineers Screen saver SIEMENS. Healthineers ... ACUSON Origin 4 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthineers 2023 Speaker Notes: The system supports a screen saver feature with images of nature. This is a great feature to display should the sonographer/ physician have to leave the room during an active study or between patients. To set the timing of the screen saver, select the System Configuration Menu > System Settings > Display. This is especially important for interventional procedures to set at 120 minutes so it does not activate in the middle of a procedure. Choices are 1-120 minutes. The screen saver can be enabled at any time by pressing the additional selection control on the Touch Screen and selecting Enable Screen Saver. Once in screen saver, moving the trackball or selecting any control will return to the primary monitor display. Notes No. 4 SIEMENS Healthineers System size and control panel articulation SIEMENS . In addition to linear gamma monitor output, the monitor supports three DICOM calibration options which are configured from the service pages. The lighting condition options are used to maintain optimal image quality regardless of ambient lighting conditions. With the inclusion of these options, the Barco monitor supports the GSDF standard directly, thus providing an onboard GSDF compliant solution. When the ACUSON Origin monitor is configured for GSDF, and GSDF export is enabled, no conversion is needed when transferring to a review station with a DICOM monitor. The images will be taken at or with GSDF on and sent at or with GSDF on aiding in image consistency. This will be set-up by the applications specialist or service at the time of install for the most common usage, but can be changed by the user for different lighting conditions (portables, operating room, standard dark room scanning). Please review with your Siemens personnel on how and when to change. GSDF should be configured “On” if sending to DICOM monitors in the reading room and Linear Gamma if sending to non-DICOM monitors. Different settings can be applied if send to multiple locations by setting up different nodes. Notes No. 15 SIEMENS Healthineers Touch Screen SIEMENS. Healthineers ... Adult cardiac transducer 5V1 • Single crystal design • Six frequencies, including fundamental and harmonic • • H High frequency – second and third harmonic blending ACUSON • Ergonomic improvements – lighter, smaller footprint and handle, less cable drag • Gesture detection 23 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthineers 2023 Speaker Notes: The 5V1 adult cardiac transducer has been designed for improved plunkability and ergonomic design. The 5V1 is a single crystal transducer with high sensitivity and ultra-wide bandwidth, providing increased resolution, signal to noise ratio, and high contrast harmonics imaging. There are six frequencies, including three fundamental (Res, Mid, Pen) and three harmonic frequencies (H Low, H Mid, H High). The H High frequency selection is a blending of the second and third harmonic components. This enables the penetration power of the low frequency (second harmonic) with the resolution of a higher frequency (third harmonic), providing reduced near field noise and side lobe artifacts, and improved endocardial delineation. Furthermore, single firing blended imaging provides better tissue texture without compromising frame rate. Notes No. 23 SIEMENS Healthineers 5Z1 transducer SIEMENS .
