This is the stress echo layout screen throughout the Stress Echo exam. Once the Stress Echo option is selected from the touch screen, the controls for the Stress Echo package are available on the touch screen. Reference Image – Provides an image of the current view from Rest acquisition as a reference. This enables the user to be consistent when acquiring the different views throughout each stage of a stress echo. Navigation Panel– Displays the different views for each stage as well as the current view. It also displays how many images are acquired and selected for each stage. Region of Interest (ROI) – The portion of the clinical image that is included in acquisition. ROI Size / Position – Controls that are used to adjust the size and position of the ROI. Viewing Modes • Selection Mode – Allows the user to select from available images acquired for a view during each stage of a stress echo (one or multiple images can be selected) • Review Mode – Displays all images that have been selected for each stage 2. Add allows the user to add and build a new protocol. Copy allows the user to copy an existing protocol which can then be edited/customized. Use the arrows to change the order of protocols. Delete allows the user to delete a protocol, however, a factory default cannot be deleted. Protocols have two options for settings: Protocol Settings and Default Review Settings. All settings displayed on this slide are default settings for the selected protocol. Protocol Settings includes: • Display ROI – displays the region of interest for acquisition during the stress echo. • Allow selection of multiple clips per view – allows the user to select multiple acquisition clips for each view in a stage. • Hide the navigation panel on the main screen as default – hides the navigation panel on the left side of the monitor during a stress echo. • Progression type by stage – selection of Automatic or Manual progression type during the stress echo. Options include Full R-R, Adjusted, Diastole Only, and Systole Only. • Playback Speed – speed at which acquired clips play in Review. • Clip Sorting – sorting of acquired clips in Review. Options include By View and By Stage. Note: Default Review Settings can be changed during an exam from the touch screen while in Stress Echo Review. The arrows can be used to change the order of the stages. Stages have two options for settings: Stage Capture Settings and Additional Settings. Stage Capture Settings includes: • Clip Store Type – use to select the type of clip capture. Options include Retrospective, Prospective, and Continuous. • Clips per Capture – determines how many clips will be stored for each view of the current stage. • Clip Type – configures clip capture to Beat or Time capture. Additionally, the number of beats or seconds can be set. • Clip Offset – sets the offset of clip capture to Time Offset or R-Wave Offset. Additionally, time in msec can be set for the Time Offset option. Additional Settings includes: • Stage Timer – a timer can be configured for each stage. This is particularly helpful in a Post stage for a treadmill stress echo.
