Organs RT Template Creation (Part 3) - How to setup rules

The template has been created. The organ has been included. Now we need to set up the correct rules. Within the rules you can specify auto tasking rules for automatic template selection. During contouring structure, templates are automatically selected according to the defined rules. In order to proceed with the configuration of the rules, at least one structured template is available in the template list. The auto tasking rules are based on DICOM tags that are commonly used to store diagnosis or procedural information. The selection of DICOM tags depends on the information that is stored in the oncology information system or radiology information system or risk in transferred to the CT scanner. If no or risk is available, the diagnosis or procedure may be entered manually within the patient registration step at the scanner. To create an auto tasking rule, click the add rule icon. Within the auto tasking trigger you can see which dycom tags are available to configure rules. When data minimization is activated in your institution with a standard privacy profile set in team play specific DICOM tags such as admitting diagnosis, description, requested procedure, and reason for requested procedure cannot be used to configure the rules for selecting a template. From the auto tasking trigger list, select a required DICOM tag. Select is or contains from the operator list. Select is only if the structure templates match those entered. If only the structure templates that contain the entered value must be selected, select contains. In the value field, enter a value. If you have selected, contains from the operator list, you can add multiple values separated by a comma. The OR logical conjunction is used if comma separated values are passed to a single rule. If more than one auto tasking trigger is specified, the input data must satisfy all the auto tasking triggers for a structured template to be selected. In this case, multiple auto tasking trigger follows the in logical conjunction. Changes will only be applied in cases that are uploaded after you saved your configuration.
