Perform a DynaCT Head spin with diluted contrast. The spin will open in 3D Sharing. 2. Select Menu, Storing, then Interactive Reconstruction. Segment Menu ? GX Volume Images (MPR) Measurement Segmentation REC Storing Recalculation Job List X-Ray 3. Change the VOI Size to Small and determine the area to be reconstructed with Define VOI. 4. Define VOI can be done in 2D or 3D view. a) 3D view (shown) – After changing the VOI size to Small, center the green box over the area of interest. Be sure to visualize reconstruction in both AP and Lateral by rotating the volume or using the Orientation Block to confirm the area of interest remains in the VOI box in all orientations. b) 2D View – After changing the VOI size to Small, center the green box over the area of interest in both AP (upper) and lateral (lower) segments. Use the image play buttons at the bottom of the Interactive Reconstruction box to make sure the area of interest stays in the center of the green box. Select the reconstruction icon, and the new reconstruction will automatically display in 3D Sharing. Note: If the area of interest is not centered or cutoff, re-open the Interactive Reconstruc- tion box (Step 2) and adjust the area of interest by re-centering the green box over the stent. 7. After the newly created reconstruction loads into 3D Sharing, right click on the MPR and select MIP thin. VRT MIP MIP Thin IMPR MPR Thick 8. Change the slice thickness to the desired thickness in mm.
