Part 2 of this video introduces the myNeedle Guide 2D mobile workflow on the tablet to you.

Please note: To be able to follow this video, please watch part 1 first.

This workflow video is best viewed on either a tablet, laptop, desktop, or connected monitor. Not recommended to view on a smartphone.

Welcome to the second part of the Mind Needle Guide 2D Workflow video. Please note to be able to follow this video, please watch part one first. We are back in the examination room and would now like to introduce the mind needle guide 2D mobile workflow on the iPad to you with the iPad. You have almost full control of the mind needle guide application. The user interface on the iPad provides the same icons as the user interface on the second monitor in the control room. To show the interactions and finger gestures on the iPad user interface, it is better to blow up the image first by double tapping on the image you blow up the image on the iPad screen only. There are three different finger gestures available for manipulating the images on the iPad. One continuous scrolling through images with one finger. And slice wise, scrolling by tapping the up or down arrows. Two zooming and panning of images with two fingers. Three use three fingers to window the image. You can also change this image interaction mode so one finger windowing. To do so, tap the little arrow with the right edge of the touch screen to display the image interaction toolbar. Then tap the single interaction mode icon. Then tap the windowing icon. For our purposes, we're switching back to the one finger mode for scrolling through images. You can also use the same icons here on the iPad, like on the second monitor to move the table to the entry point position. Use the move button on the joystick to trigger the table movement to this defined position. The distance measurement is also visible here on the big inroom monitor. Normally you should do the following under sterile conditions, but we will just use a ruler, measure the distance and insert the needle at the entry point on the Phantom. Now let's perform a nice sequence scan using the iPad. Let us show you how it can be selected here above the image segment to the right of the dose information area there is an icon representing the currently selected scan mode. Tap this icon and you will see all available scan modes on the system presented. The eye sequence and I fluoro scan modes are available. The eye sequence scan mode is already selected. You can also change some scan. Parameters such as MASKV slice thickness in the area above the image segment on the tomogram. You can also change, for example the field of view of the scan range. On the iPad tab, go to load the scan mode. Let's go back to the control room to start the scan. Press start on the control box. After the sequence scan, you can see the needle on the image. The start button is blinking when the eye sequence mode is still active an you can perform more sequence scans by simply pressing the button. If you want to start the scan inside the examination room, you can use the footswitch as well. Now let's focus more on the needle. The next step is to adjust the needle, but you don't want to lean into the gantry, so you use the I joystick to move the table out. Like this, you can comfortably adjust the needle, change its angulation, and put it back in to check whether the needle is at the correct position you would like to scan exactly at the last scan position. As you can see, the move key is still active. Just press and hold the move button. It will automatically move the table to the same position of the last scan. There is also a dedicated icon on the iPad user interface for this function. In this workflow it is automatically activated if the target position is set to somewhere else different from the last scan position an you want to get back again. You will have to use the move to last scan position icon before we perform another scan. Let us show you more tools available on the iPad by tapping this icon. You can toggle through windowing presets. You can add a distance measurement by clicking this icon when drawing the distance line on the iPad. You can watch it on the in room monitor simultaneously by tapping the save snapshot of selected segment icon. You can save a snapshot. When you tap the blowup mode icon, the Image segment which is displayed on the iPad will also be blown up on the in room monitor. When you deselect it on the iPad, the in room monitor always displays the overview layout with all segments. By tapping this icon you can also change the layout on the iPad, so let's select another layout. Another important feature on the iPad is that you can select the user position in this menu by selecting left or right side of the table. You can convert the head and feet image display order on the in room monitor so that it aligns with patient's direction. So much for the tool introduction. Let's come back to the scan. Here is another very useful and practical workflow sometimes when scrolling to the needle tip position, you may find out it is not in the center segment. So if you want to center this position in the next I sequence can tap the move to selected axial slice position icon to define the target position. After this press and hold the move key on the joystick to move the table to the target position. Alternatively, you can also freely reposition the table for the next scan by simply moving it in or out using the joystick, and you can perform one more scan by pressing the START button. Before finalizing the 2D workflow on the iPad, let us show you the intervention settings on the iPad and cancel the scan mode first. Then tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the iPad where you can access the intervention settings. Switch on show advanced dose display. By doing so, an additional line will display under the dose information area showing the accumulated dose for CTD volume and also for DLP. Proceed as previously described, repeat the adjustment of the needle position and perform a few more I sequence scans until the needle tip reaches the desired target lesion. By tapping the finalized icon on the iPad, you finished the my needle guide 2D workflow. Thank you for watching the mind needle guide 2D workflow video. See you next time.
